“Toilet wasn’t working, had to switch rooms, both bathrooms looked outdated. Room seemed clean and the breakfast was good. Not a terrible stay but with the price it could have been better.”

“We were in town for a soccer tournament and stayed one night. We paid $168 which seemed a little high compared to previous stays at La Quintas but not enough to be bothered by. Our first game was Saturday morning so after an early lunch we were hoping we’d be able to check in early, around noon.. We were told that would be fine but would cost another $23. We were tired so we didn’t complain but now we’re ~$185 in for the room. I would’ve been ok with that until we walked to our room and saw how……

“The staff was grumpy. The room was small and filled with cheap furniture. The queen bed was uncomfortable. There was no receptical for doggie poop bags or even a marked doggie run.”

“If you are desperate and need a room for the night then this could be the place for you. The hotel is very dirty. You can see the filth in the shower, toilet seat. I had to got to the store and clean my room. The tv remote head sticky. Who knows when or if the bed sheets were changed. I had to use my sweater for a pillow. They serve breakfast but I didn’t eat it. ”

“The hotel was in a convenient location to downtown. They were in the midst of renovations, but did a great job of protecting guests from that. The breakfast could have been a little more varied, but it was unique to have a bagel bar (if I’m remembering correctly).”

“My stay at Birch Hill Suites in Independence, MO was extremely stressful and disappointing. While the room itself was acceptable at first glance, the overall experience raised serious safety concerns. There was an unauthorized individual in my room, and although staff eventually intervened, the situation was not handled with urgency.
