「We all enjoyed our stay. The cabin was so well decorated and furnished with everything we needed. Quiet secluded spot very relaxing. Perfect get away. The pond was a bonus for the guys to fish. Visits from the donkeys and cows was so sweet. We will for sure stay here again if we are in the area, Hostess is amazing」

「We stayed at the property over Easter weekend with family. There were four adults and two teens, and more than enough room for all of us. We were met upon arrival and given a tour of the property and shown how to use some of the things on site. There are a lot of original things to the period it was built, and the images on the listing show off some of the highlights of the property. We enjoyed exploring, playing hide and seek, and relaxing with the family. There were a couple of negatives, but...

「It was probably the best cabin stay I ever had. I am doing cabin vacations since many years. The owner family really took care of in a very natural and warm way. The cabin was very clean and directly facing the lake. And they gave me a few of their own farmland chicken eggs. I had five wonderful days!」

「I loved staying here! I travel for work and decided to check out a local Vrbo instead of a hotel in Texarkana, and I’m glad I did! Will made the check in process so easy and him and his family were so welcoming. The dome was great and so cozy during a storm that came through. This would be a wonderful couples getaway or a fun family trip!」

「The property is beautiful and well-maintained. Also, the accommodations were very comfortable and exceptionally clean. And the host was available and responsive to our questions, This is a great place to enjoy the quiet of the country, with the conveniences of larger towns nearby. The covered parking was an added bonus, as we were there primarily to fish, and the covered area accommodated both our truck and boat.」

「The cabin was perfect. All the essentials were there, just bring food and beverages. The owners are wonderful people. Only negative things to be said is the dirt access road to it does a number on your car, and the mosquitos are horrific. 」
