We loved this little spot. It was quiet, secluded, and my daughters loved having horses so close to the cabin.

Cute and cozy place

The place was beautiful well kept very clean! The dogs and the horses was a plus and very friendly! This is someplace I would stay again! Only thing I would change is have a plunger and a thicker mattress for the loft ! I would give it a 10 of 10!!!

Cozy Cabin

Loved the cabin. I fell in love with the sweet kitty. Impressed with the thoughtful items such as shampoo, coffee, sugar, etc. The porch was a great place to sit and soak up the fall colors.

Great, quiet place in the country. Perfect for a getaway.

We were on an exploration trip, so spent the days driving around, but we made sure we made it back in time to enjoy a relaxing sunset on the porch.

Quiet Cabin - Fun Stay

We enjoyed our stay at the Lone Star cabin. It was tucked away in a quiet area between Maud and New Boston. Nights were filled with the sounds of nature... frogs, etc. Horses just behind the cabin. The owner was very responsive and the cabin was just the right size for my husband and me and our 13 year old Jack Russell. Great place to relax!

We have family in the area and this location was very convenient for us. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Only about 8 miles to New Boston. It was fully stocked with everything we needed. Very nice, small, new, modern/rustic cabin

So much better than staying in a hotel, we loved this little cabin! When we walked in, it smelled brand new. Very clean. I loved the Texas decor. Looked professionally done. Two flatscreen Roku TVs and Wi-Fi was a plus. It is small, but we were aware. The kitchen has a small fridge, stovetop and oven, which worked fine for our needs. The one private bedroom had an open closet and stacked washer/dryer, which made it feel a bit like a utility room. But a couple of curtains took care of that. It is certainly out in the country - which I liked - but not far from New Boston, where we shopped for supplies. I was in the area to visit my horse, which is being trained nearby (24 minutes) at Rancho Del Sol. They frequently host entertainment, like rodeos, concerts, and the circus! So that is something to check out. We also went to Atlanta State Park, about 35 minutes away. There’s a big lake for boating and fishing, but we just went hiking. Very east Texas, with lots of trees and humidity!
