Gorgeous Mountain Home Near Mad River Glen

"We stayed for a wonderful week in August, 2026. Our son got married at Mad River Barn and we needed a place nearby. The location was absolutely perfect. The house was beautiful, spacious, well laid out, clean, comfortable and bright. The beds and furniture were quite comfy. There was plenty of sleeping space and seating inside and out for all 10 of us. The huge, modern kitchen was unbelievably stocked with dishware, cookware and more. The bathrooms were clean and big. It was so nice to have so many available options for tubs and showers. The grounds in front and back were beautifully alive with wildflowers and plantings. The patio, cornhole game and firepit were a nice addition. Our small dog didn't even get eaten by a bear. Also, there were dozens of games available for all ages. Communication with the house mgmt team was flawless and efficient. We will stay again at this great home, and we highly recommend it for large families, friends and multiple smaller groups. PS, our son and daughter in law had the very best wedding ever! And, tgere are multiple good hikes, restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, shops and farm stands close by."

"This rental is a vey charming property. Just what we were looking for as an "overflow" habitat while visiting family at their Golf Course Road home. The back yard woodsy view and chairs by the brook couldn't have been a nicer spot for morning coffee and the smaller kitchen was perfect. Plenty of room in the fridge; plenty of room on the stove. Our cat loved the experience. She seemed to feel very secure in a smaller space and having the outdoors at-the-ready to explore with her made the visit very special."

"One of the best places I have stayed Usually I bring some things with me but this time they stayed in the car. The kitchen was fully supplied It felt like home. Only little thing was the heater no clear instructions. We eventually figured it out Other than that little thing it was perfect. Highly recommend "
