Comfortable country house with garden and private pool, 4km from Solanas beach.

Villa Floris is a fully renovated country house with 3 bedrooms, each with it's own airco and bathroom. It is situated in the Solanas valley and is surrounded by beautiful mountains, 4 km from the Solanas beach with its cristal clear sea. Skyscanner has named Solanas beach the sixth most beautiful beach of Sardinia! In the garden of the house you will find a little swimming pool and sunbeds to relax. From the veranda you will look over the surrounding mountains and over a little orchard with mainly citrus trees. At night you can enjoy your meal from the barbeque while admiring the stars. Sometimes some land turtle (protected!) will pass by. You are not allowed to disturb them. The house has a livingroom with TV and a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave. Furthermore you will find wifi and on request a loading point for electric cars. The water comes from a well and we recommend to drink mineral water from bottles. Electricity comes mainly from solar panels. The house is quite remote and one will need a car to get around. The sandy road, (appr. 700m) that takes you to the house is a bit bumpy and not recommended for fancy (low) cars.

Idyllische Lage

Wer nicht den Super-Luxus braucht und eher auf individuelle Unterkünfte steht, ist bei Alice genau richtig. Die Zufahrt ist etwas abenteuerlich (war aber auch so beschrieben) und die Lage ist sehr idyllisch in einem schönen Garten mit Früchten und Kräutern, die auch genutzt werden durften. Auch wenn das Haus nicht besonders luxeriös ist, so bietet es doch viel Komfort mit Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine, Außengrill und einen kleinen, aber sehr schönen Pool. Die Vermieterin Alice ist sehr bemüht und steht für Fragen immer zur Verfügung. Wir haben was besonderes gesucht und auch gefunden.Monika, Horst, Monika, Jürgen (60)

Relaxed country home!

We enjoyed 2 weeks in this house- the owner Alice was incredibly helpful and attentive. The house itself was in a relaxing and secluded environment which helped enable a real vacation feeling. It was particularly lovely to sit on the terrace with a glass of wine and enjoy the Mountain View. We would happily return!

La strada sterrata per raggiungere la proprietà in alcuni tratti è un po' difficoltosa per la presenza di sassi. All'interno la casa è spaziosa e dotata di tutti i confort (aria condizionata, zanzariere, giochi, libri, cucina ben attrezzata). Lo spazio esterno è ideale per pranzare e prendere il sole dopo essersi rinfrescati nella bellissima piscina. Contesto tranquillo a pochi minuti dalla spiaggia di Solanas e a 15 minuti dalle calette per andare verso Villasimius, mare stupendo! Villasimius Villasimius

Do you like serenity?

If yes, this is the place for you. Swallows swooping down over the pool, hummingbird moth visiting the flowers, a tortoise at the end of the lane, only birds for neighbours... The house is in a weekend house area at the end of a dirt track . Hire an SUV and you will have your own heaven. The house was cool and lovely, spotlessly clean, but we spent most of the time in the garden on the large, shaded terrace, looking out to the mountains hugging the valley, enjoying the sun setting over the peaks, watching the stars come out in all their millions, making a wish on the odd shooting star. I want to move there. Alice is also absolutely lovely, the local beach is stunning with a small cafe... I have already recommended the place to people. If it is still free for your dates, book it. It is the perfect off the beaten track hideaway that kept two grown ups and two small kids very happy. Thank you!

Bestes Preis - Leistungsverhältnis

Die Beschreibung der Unterkunft entspricht dem, was wir vorgefunden haben. Wie wurden von der Vermieterin bei der Ankunft zum Haus begleitet, da das Haus etwas abgelegen liegt eine sinnvolle Sache. Ein Auto sollte man mitbringen. Das Haus war sauber und die Einrichtung gut durchdacht Die Haustechnik funktionierte ohne Probleme. Die Lage war ideal als Ausgangspunkt für Aktivitäten, trotzdem sehr ruhig gelegen. Wir standen in ständigem Kontakt ( per Whats App) mit der Vermieterin Alice, die uns mit ihrer netten und freundlichen Art sofort sympathisch war. Wir können diese Unterkunft mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

A True Hidden Gem

We have just returned from a fantastic last-minute short break to the south of Sardinia. We wanted to experience this part of the island between Cagliari and Villasimius. Tucked snugly up a dirt road (just 3km up from Solanas ), Villa Floris was the perfect base to explore from. Our host Alice made us feel so welcome. Her knowledge of the area is outstanding. She gave us many excellent tips for coastal viewing points, walking routes, the best coffee places and some great restaurants where the locals go. Villa Floris itself is a modern, well-designed three- bedroom /three bathroom house with every convenience and comfort. The first afternoon we just relaxed in the garden, enjoyed the cosy pool and had a BBQ. It really is a little oasis of calm. The following morning (feeling like real locals), we headed back down the little dirt road to the coffee bar. Breakfast there was followed by a long walk on the nearby Solanas beach. Simply stunning! In the evening, we had a lovely dinner in the lively town of Villasimius which is a short 20 minute drive away along the coastal road. The next day, we headed into Cagliari for lunch and to visit the food market. A real Italian experience! We picked up some amazing fresh fish for our BBQ back in Villa Floris. Our visit was just too short. We will certainly be back to stay in Villa Floris and explore more of this amazing part of the island. Thank you Alice for your hospitality. We really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful stay at Villa Floris

Southern Sardinia is my favorite destination and my recent stay at Villa Floris was delightful! Alice is the perfect host and she cheerfully greeted us upon arrival. The unpaved road leading up to her home is a bit bumpy but it is only a short trip from the main road and certainly not a problem. In fact, the location is exactly what we were looking for...a serene retreat nestled in nature! Her home is surrounded by shade trees and the natural fauna of Sardinia...we even had the pleasure of meeting her resident turtle (he loves your leftover veggies). The layout of her home worked great for us - each room was quite spacious and had its own beautifully remodeled bathroom with large showers and most importantly its own air-conditioning. The highlight was the backyard - complete with a refreshing pool, beautiful limestone deck, plenty of new lounge chairs, and a BBQ. The location is ideal - close to Solanas Beach which is a must see. The sea is crystal clear, calm and we had no problem parking. Also, we really enjoyed Villasimius which is only a 10 minute drive and a fun destination to shop, people watch, enjoy a nice meal topped off with a delicious gelato. I'm sure you will enjoy your stay as much as we did...we will certainly return to Villa Floris!
