Great little pearl of a hotel

Cosy little hotel practically on the beach - we enjoyed our dinner on the balcony with the calming sound of the ocean as background music. Our room was nice, service was beyond expectations and breakfast was great.

A nice small place to stay, right on the beach, with a nice breakfast. The room was good and spacious, everything works as advertised. The staff are friendly and luckily for us, spoke good English.

We had a lovely stay at Villa del Mare. Great location, steps the beach. Andrea and Michele are great and will answer any questions for you. Feels like you’re staying with family. Really delicious restaurant and amazing staff - Maximiliano was very kind!

It was a fantastic experience!!! We stayed for 13 nights and will definitely be back! This property could be easily a 4 stars. The staff is always kind and ready to help you with any request, the rich buffet breakfast is complete for all tastes, the beach is 1 minute walk from the property. I'm glad we chose Villa del Mare for our beach stop on the way back to Cagliari. We've had 2 nd floor room with lovely balcony overlooking magnificent beach. The owners greeted us with coplimentaryt drink and made sure we knew our way around. One of the nicest authentic Sardinian expiriences, couple of local restaurants withing short walk, highly recommended. Very quikly wanted to stay loonger, but they were booked, now I know why! A

The room was okay, but we noticed the power socket did not work all the time. Also the minibar fridge in the room, was not working during day time. Wifi was so weak that we needed to use our own data. We also had ants in the room on the ground floor. What concerns the service, the two hosts seemed very nice at first only for us to get disappointed. For breakfast we couldn't choose ourselves where to sit. The hosts would force it upon us which table to chose when we would try to take a table. Also we felt under constant surveillance concerning how much food we would take at breakfast. When we chose to have dinner, we would have to reserve a table as there was a lot of demand. But we were shocked when we were asked DURING dinner whether we "were finished or are you finishing" even though it was clear we were not even close to have finished. That added to a very unpleasant and stressful stay. All in all, even though the service seemed impeccable in the beginning, we were negatively surprised that it was absolutely not the case and it honestly left a negative aftertaste of our trip. We were pressured and stressed and the hosts seemed to always try to control too much. Nevertheless, the rooms were cleaned everyday, which was great. Also the location of the hotel is great as its right at the beach. All in all though, we are not coming back, since we did not relax but were constantly stressed during out stay.

Sardiniens bästa strandhotel?

Fantastiskt bra strandhotel. 30 meter till Solanas beach o havet. Välstädade rum med stor balkong och strålande havsutsikt. Lugnt o tryggt område. Service o personal imponerade på oss. Kan inte bli bättre om du vill njuta av bad och strandliv. Vi stannade i 7 dagar, kommer väldigt gärna tillbaka.

Dejligt sted, pæne værelser til prisen, meget rent, super venligt og serviceminded personale. Et par stille og rolige dage uden for sæsonen med masser af plads på stranden. Spiste på hotellet, god mad til yderst fair priser.

Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht

Das Hotel ist so lala, weil das Preisleistungsverhältnis nicht stimmt. Es ist einfach zu teuer für das, was es bietet. Das Frühstück ist nicht toll, am vierten Tag waren Joghurt und Käse aus, wurden dann auch nicht für die restlichen Tage neu eingekauft. Draußen frühstücken war nicht erwünscht. Ein Abendessen dort war ok, aber auch zu teuer für die Qualität. Das Team macht das, was nötig ist und ungern ein bisschen mehr. Es war z.B. nicht möglich am Ende mit EC- oder Kreditkarte zu bezahlen. WLAN war wirklich schlecht. Neue Klobürsten wären angebracht. Für den Preis erwarte ich einfach mehr. Jedoch die Lage und die Umgebung sind für einen Erholungs- und Strandurlaub großartig.

Tropical heaven

We loved this hotel & the owners. They were extremely accommodating throughout our visit. The dinner we had was excellent and the waiter was top notch in his professionalism. The hotel was very clean and we enjoyed the decor, especially the front desk.

Nous avions réservé une chambre double supérieure avec vue sur la mer. Elle n' était visible que du bout du balcon! Très bon petit déjeuner et bon restaurant. Le personnel était charmant. Belle plage à 20m de l' hôtel; très chargée le week - end .
