“We really enjoyed our stay at Outdoorsy. The yurts are definitely "outdoorsy". You are in nature and it is quiet and private. We had interesting weather during our stay with several thunderstorms. It was noisy in the yurt but we always felt safe. The yurt was comfortable, clean, and roomy. We were traveling with our dog and it was great for him but not if your dog tends to take off when not on a leash. The property is a short drive to many wineries and activities in the area. “We were greeted with chocolate chip cookies and a glass of wine and seltzer, while the property owners fed a herd of deer out in front of an amazingly beautiful canyon scape. “My husband and I and our two small dogs had a nice stay in Hill Country. The house is as described and even nicer when you arrive. The kitchen is spacious snd well equipped and all the rooms are very nice. The screened porch is large and a great place to relax and enjoy nature. It was quiet and safe and not too far from Comfort or Fredricksburg. Only problem was the terrible flooding occurred while we were there so we couldn’t go to many of our favorite spots. “My wife and I spent a couple of nights and love the atmosphere. “Talk about being in the middle of no where, Ricks cabin is that. The cabin is situated 6 miles out of Comfort situated in the hills about 1800 feet above sea level. Getting to the cabin can be challenging but follow Ricks directions to the tee and you will be ok. On the way out we made a mistake and followed GPS directions, took a wrong turn and ended up driving down a really rough unpaved road leading to a really spooky looking cabin. The previous rave reviews are spot on with their commentary……
