Stunning home in Sjællands Odde

A very stylish and decoratively furnished accommodation welcomes you in the north of Zealand on a wonderful glacial headland.



This spacious cottage offers you a wonderful mix of old and new, so you can prepare your morning coffee and communal breakfast in the modern kitchen, and as soon as everyone gets out of bed you meet at the antique dining table chairs. After some quiet hours in the morning, you can decide to stay at home or experience something on the wonderful island of Denmark. If you choose the former, you can cozy up in the comfortable leather sofa in the living room with an engrossing novel or sit on a sun lounger on your open property, while the youngest guests enjoy themselves on the green area. The existing terrace invites you to barbecue and enjoy wonderful hours in the summer heat. Afterwards you can also cool off directly in 400 m distance at a pebble beach in the wonderful Kattegat.



Sjællands Odde is a picturesque nature area where there are many adventure opportunities for you. The cottage is situated on a peninsula between the Kattegat and Sejerø Bay. On the glacial headland Odsherred you will feel like you are in a geopark. On it you will find along the Tumulus Road, with the barrows and burial mounds, witnesses of the Stone and Bronze Ages, the remains of a forest village in Ulkerup abandoned 300 years ago, the Hempel Glass Museum and in the Odsherred Museum the copy of the sun chariot found in the Trundholm Mose bog. You will also see the erratic boulder Lommesten and the castle Næsholm Borg, which stands on a small island in the lake Nygård Sø between Højby and Nykøbing Sj. On Odsherred there is also a nature school that lets you catch seafood, organizes butterfly safaris and expeditions into the forest, and invites you to troll and fox excursions. Havnebyen is the only real fishing harbor with cutters and a small smokehouse. Even recreational anglers always get something on the hook here.



Enjoy smoked fish here while your children go crabbing on the pier.
