“房源含廚房，自煮方便。有提供戶外熱水池供住客使用，體驗不錯。 本次入住遇到的大問題是：我們入住是6月底，是吸血蠓蟲大量出現的季節。我們入住時沒有獲得任何關於吸血蠓蟲的提醒，我本人睡閣樓床位，因為閣樓太過悶熱所以打開了窗戶，結果整夜被吸血蠓蟲嚴重叮咬。”

“This is such a magical spot !! The host was communicative and helpful and the property was cozy and well equipped. Possibly the favorite point of our trip! Plenty of room to spread out. Had to deal with a handful of flies on arrival that were stuck inside or dead but there was a lil vacuum so not a big deal. ”

A couple of days before our check in day we received a message from the host with some very helpful information about things to do and see in the area which was much appreciated. The message said that they would send us check in instructions on our arrival day but unfortunately this didn't happen which left us wondering if there was a problem with our booking, I……

“There is a hidden cleaning fee (Expedia stated 5000 ISK but there is a sheet in person that corresponds to 100 euros or 14000 ISK) that they will charge if you don't dust the furniture, mop the floors, and strip the beds, which I thought was completely unrealistic to expect from guests. Communication with the host cut off once we had checked in. My friend had bed bug bites that were never addressed. The property is sufficient but the communication with the host and the expectations ruined the……

“The house was ideally located in town and well-equipped with all that we needed for our stay. While it was unclear whether the property had a hot tub as listed, my daughter enjoyed her time digging out enough snow to open the door to the balcony. Very pleased with the ease of check in, value for the money, location, and comfort of the Painter's House.”
