“When traveling with a dog it's often hard to find a place that approves their admittance, but Bear Paw Inn graciously did and without imposing a ridiculously high fee. The young lady at the desk when we arrived was pleasant, friendly, and very patient with this road-weary traveler who was somewhat confused over whether we'd already been charged (we weren't). You just need to understand that it's just outside of Big Bay so any real dining choices will require you to go to Marquette. Perfect for us two who are in our early 70's.Fully equipped kitchen, large bathroom, great bedding and spectacular lake view. Where else can you catch a sunrise and sunset from the same place. Shaded yard, great lawn chairs and swings, fire pit with lots of cut wood.Thanks for your attention to detail with old mixed with modern conveniences.My favorite was the wooden screen door.
