Stayed in the cottages for a wedding weekend. Everything was lovely and the location is just fabulous. The food was lovely and the staff all worked really hard and were there morning until night. The cosy lounges were a bit too warm when the fires were roaring but there are other rooms to sit in. Will definitely be back 👍

This is a stunning pub and hotel. Food and surrounds were wonderful. We were there during an unseasonably warm period and a little hot in the rooms otherwise it was perfect!

A very nice hotel in an historic building. The rooms were clean and well designed. That occupies an excellent location right in the center of town. Staff is very pleasant. The food was surprisingly good.

Hidden gem in the Dales

This is an excellent hotel, in a lovely location. The food is superb. The roast beef was delicious and breakfast was excellent too.

Would definitely stay again...

Great location, lovely outdoor space, friendly staff, good food. Would definitely stay again. A few observations - Disappointed with standard of toilets in public areas, our towels were changed everyday on a three night stay even though we hung them up, please use refillable toiletries. A bigger bar area would have bern appreciated when not possible to sit outside.

First time staying at this lovely 16th century hotel in beautiful Burnsall. Everything about my visit went well, my room was lovely, clean and comfortable. As a sole older woman traveller, some hotels are less accepting of the fact I'm by myself but the staff here were kind and friendly and it makes a huge difference. I will definitely go back.

Stayed in a cottage, very disappointed. In need of serious refurb, very tired. Lounge by bar had all ripped seats, like a dog has chewed it all. Breakfast is always great but evening meals are not great standard. On previous stays we have stayed in the room with bunkbeds, these are lovely and modern, this time we thought we'd go for more room in the cottage, but I'd much rather a more modern room.

Just the most quaint and beautiful setting! Very well kept property and grounds. The pub dining area couldn't be more enjoyable. The staff was friendly and helpful and a young woman named Jess was particularly delightful and helpful. I would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway. Just a short drive over to Grassington which is must!
