"The Throstles nest is a nice quiet peaceful escape where you can relax and feel safe. The farm is located in beautiful countryside with outstanding views.Margret and her family are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfasts are excellent and made with good quality local produce. The farm is literally two miles from the centre of Skipton. Hope to return soon!"

A most picturesque town, with lots of activity and great eating places. We loved the two days we spent there.

The market and high street were a little disappointing, but the area by the canal and back streets were nice. Best pubs in the area are Boat House, Beer Engine and Narrow Boat, all great beer/drinks and friendly welcome.

What a quaint part of England! We loved driving around & enjoying the countryside.
"The room was very small but very nicely set out. The bed was very comfortable and everything you needed in the room for a lovely overnight stay. The breakfast was delicious, we didn’t eat an evening meal but the bar area is really nice. Nice touch in your room were 2 vouchers for 2 half pints of Timothy Taylor’s beer. "
"We had a very relaxing stay which is just what we needed…
We had a meal the first night which was lovely….we did find the drinks at the bar a little on the expensive side compared to other places we had called into in Grassington "
"This is a lovely quaint, quiet country inn/accomodation, which is on its way to be something special. The welcome, cust service and food were top notch. The owners have just recently taken over and you can see how wonderful this place is going to be, with everything being made future proof. They are updating it whilst still providing a wonderful experience. It’s also dog friendly in the bedrooms too (with beds and snacks for your K9 friend). I will definitely be going back. Ooh, and the chef smokes and cures their own produce. The full English Breakfast fills you up for the day and I recommend this. My son had porridge and he almost licked his bowl clean on both days. We were there for a family wedding at Tithe Barn and stayed 2 nights. Everywhere you looked in this wonderful part of Yorkshire was a pleasure. Gods Own Country"
