Family room for four.

Beautiful location and lovely host

Wonderful views across the Dales and great hospitality! Comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast. The family room we had was spacious and tea/ coffee/cocoa available in the room. Comfortable lounge area that shows how they transformed a dark farmhouse into the beautiful B&B they now have. The sheep are adorable, which are rare breeds, in this small holding!

The Throstles nest is a nice quiet peaceful escape where you can relax and feel safe. The farm is located in beautiful countryside with outstanding views.Margret and her family are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfasts are excellent and made with good quality local produce. The farm is literally two miles from the centre of Skipton. Hope to return soon!

Fantastic place to stay

You are greeted by a fabulous house and lovely garden that is a sun trap. The room was lovely with good facilities. The owners are extremely welcoming and helpful, making you feel comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic.

Lovely stay at a proper B&B with excellent breakfasts and friendly hosts. The room was comfy and well-equipped. Location was good - very near Skipton but out in the countryside - great in early spring with lots of lambs, but glad we didn't have to negotiate the winding country lanes in the snow! Parking quite tight too.

Cracking B and B with fantastic breakfast and really fresh eggs! I would definitely stay again when in the area. Don't believe what your sat Nav tells you where to go, it is about half a mile before you get there

Wonderful Stay

Our stay was wonderful, probably the best B&B my wife have stayed in. It was comfortable, beautifully designed and spacious. The owners could not have been more helpful and friendly. The views were stupendous, of course the almost tropical weather helped. Breakfast was just what we expected from a Yorkshire B&B. We cannot speak too highly of Throstle Nest Farm. We stayed for 12! Days it was so good. Beautiful property in the heart of North Yorkshire - amazing selection of breakfast. Clean rooms and family-run, friendly service. Sometimes we had to ask repeatedly for clean towels - and we don’t change them everyday. Beds were old and could use updating for comfort. Otherwise - would highly recommend!

What a beautiful location. When my wife and i woke up in the morning, we watched the sunrise over the Dales. The same for breakfast as the dining room has ceiling high windows overlooking the cows and sheep grazing in the fields. The rooms are nice, clean, and quiet, and the beds are comfy. We quickly became friends with some of the other guests. The bottom line is that we had a wonderful time there. We highly recommend Throstle Nest Farm.
