The location was perfect for our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent. The rooms were spotless, free organised car parking. Good access to beauty spots within the Dales. We would definitely stay again

All aspects of the Woolly Sheep were excellent,especially the kitchen. The only negative for us personally,was the fact our superior room was on the top floor and the hotel has no lift. We wouldn’t hesitate staying there again,but would make sure of the lower floor.

Great location and great pub, however the size and quality of the rooms for the price is pretty poor. £170 for one night and all the furniture in the room has been damaged, paint on the walls and the bath panel looks rotten. The room is only just big enough for the bed, side table and small area to walk round the bed. Shower was very good though.
