「Very warm welcome. Very clean and well equipped room. Very comfortable bed with nice clean bedding. Excellent breakfast with good choice of food.. My wife is vegetarian and this was catered for with a very helpful manner. We would happily use this hotel again.」

「Generally good for the price. The room was comfortable but the bed was too soft for us.」

「Looks grand from the outside and reception, with beautiful grounds. It’s dated. Very dated! We booked the cheapest room so walked a few miles in corridors getting lost in lifts that only go to certain rooms and then a stairwell that was really smelly. We had drinks in the bar, asked for coke was given Pepsi without being asked if I was ok with that and then the £4 small bowl of fries was literally cold. No need to return. 」

「While the room was cheap it wasn’t very clean the shower was filthy the windows was filthy the vinyl the soap dispensers was very dirty, had a hand towel with the edges all frailed at the ends no light as you come out the room onto the landing I was left a soft brown banana that was left for the breakfast two days in a row and a slight brown apple . The breakfast sandwich was a cold defrosted bacon and sausage sandwich with the date it was frozen or defrosted on it I can’t remember. I’ve stayed...

「Very convoluted way to get to the room. Extremely inconvenient stairs if you have luggage. With a slight investment they could make it more convenient by making the corridor of one level.」
