The cottage was everything we were looking for: rustic charm, remote and relaxing. This was the perfect place to rest and recharge. The views were absolutely stunning.

Very lovely little cottage with a direct view on the Newgrange monument. Landlady is very welcoming and totally relaxed.We enjoyed the stay quite a lot.We even got a private tour through Rosnaree House which is really a beautiful place.If you’re looking for a quiet and cozy place… don’t look further.

Property and host were great! For our family of three it was a perfect stay. My daughter (4) loved the loft bed especially and we were very cozy in the cottage unit. We only wished we could stay longer to explore the area and relax on the grounds.

Perfect country stay

This property is a great country retreat. Ducks come visit you in the morning, the tire swing is so much fun, and views of the river and landscape are breathtaking. The owner is friendly and very accommodating. The property is only a handful of minutes away from Newgrange, Funtasia, Emerald Park, and Drogheda. It's so handy to have a full kitchen and washing machine.

What a difference when you are met by your host in person. Very friendly and with a bowl of goodies from her own garden !The cottage was well equipped and nicely decorated with a beautiful view!!

Fisherman's cottage

The cottage is a converted farm building with an eclectic collection of furniture which proved quirky but comfortable and our host was very friendly and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our few days there. The steps up to the mezzanine bedroom are quite steep and narrow so may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues but our adult son had no problems
