House Rustico

10/10 Excellent

"We were met at Bistro Vila Velebita, by Helena who welcomed us and escorted us to our room at House Rustico. The room looked as it was shown in the photographs. Things were clean, fresh smelling ( not perfumed). The bed was firm and comfortable. There were both fat fluffy pillows and flatter ones, so everyone was happy. Helena showed us all the amenities and arranged to meet us at the restaurant the following morning to help us plan our itinerary for the next day at the lakes. She let us know where to be at certain times so the sun would show off the lakes to their best advantage. We had a wonderful time thanks to our hosts."

"This is a wonderful property run by the kindest family. They gave us a ride to the park, were helpful with directions and gave my sister flowers and wine for her birthday which they noticed from her passport. The breakfast was amazing with lots of homemade baked goods. The location it is an easy walk to entrance 2 and there is a good dinner spot across the street. Would highly recommend."

"Charming hotel close (10 minute drive) to Plitvice Nat’l Park. Harry was a wealth of information and very helpful. Dinner was hearty. Breakfast was standard. We were upstairs accessed by a steep spiral staircase. Had to use caution going up and down especially with luggage. Clean and cozy room. Neighbors dog barked at night. Would recommend for convenience. Ask for a ground floor room."

"Do not hesitate to book this property! It was absolutely gorgeous hotel, in a location close to the beautiful park. The room was incredibly clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast and had delicious food. The family running the hotel was so helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again if we return to the area!"

"Beautiful location and very convenient. But the staff was the most amazing - from being flexible with a very late night check in to helping us with directions, suggestions to the very warm approach, I think the staff and service made this an amazing place to stay. We were here with two small kids and they were very courteous with all our needs"
