Writers, fisher-people, birdwatchers, and stargazers will fall in love with this completely private cabin on a large ranch. Enjoy the hammock, pond, in an outdoor shower and recently decorated place. Birders; the property is home to the most bio-diverse wetlands in Gold Country! Quiet crickets, frogs and water will wrap you in a cocoon. This unplugged getaway is close to world class dining, entertainment and swimming(South Yuba) in Nevada City and Grass Valley within 15-20 minutes.

The location was amazing and the cabin was perfect. Wish we could have stayed longer. My wife and I will definitely make this a destination spot throughout the year. It was so nice to be on the ranch without city noise. The only sounds were nature.

Such A Great Place
We had a great time at this cabin. I loved the welcome sign with my name at the front door. The bottle of red wine was also a nice touch. The design inside the cabin was amazing. The only negative would be the dog hair on the breakfast nook bench and the refrigerator being dirty inside. Otherwise we would stay there again.

Perfect get away from the noise of the city, particularly over the long weekend. Very much enjoyed our time in the peace and quiet, and my husband loved having the pond there....caught (and released) quite a number of fish over our stay. Great find and hope to book again.

Our Duck Pond cabin stay couldn't have been more relaxing. The stream and waterfalls were beautiful, the birdwatching was good and the area in and outside of the cabin even better than we expected. Air conditioning and a super comfortable king bed. No noise, no interruptions, just perfection.

Cozy, clean, and just amazing!
My husband and I stayed here in February 2023 for 2 nights which were NOT long enough. Next time I will have to book a whole week because neither of us wanted to leave. We saw ducks in the pond, deer roaming around, got to see some horses and cute cows on the property...it was the most relaxing experience. Can't wait to book it again!
