Great Views!

Overall, the place was a good size, has great views and the bathrooms were very clean! Our issue was with the cleanliness of the inside of kitchen drawers, they had crumbs in them. But the biggest thing was that the main rooms king sized bed and the secondary rooms queen sized bed sheets had not been cleaned. There was sand and popcorn pieces in the bed as soon as we turned down the sheets. We had to look for spare sheets, was them and then use them on the beds in order to feel comfortable to sleep there. We also had to kill a palmetto bug in the living room.

We would rent this room again. Nice views. Clean room. Sheets and towels are provided and that isn’t the same for all rooms at St Regis. We’ve stayed at St Regis the last 3 years, so overall we like the amenities. The gym equipment was updated since last year. They are just missing a jacuzzi, but that is not this rooms fault. The week before we came into town, the nor’easter damaged the deck, so we had no beach access. Again, not this rooms fault, but it would have been thoughtful to have been notified by this host.Main TV cable didn’t work, but it did in the master. Main TV didn’t have all the apps the others did. But, not a huge deal overall.

Impromptu Family trip

We booked this stay as my mother is very ill and requested to visit the beach which may be her last time with my sister and son. The check-in process was super easy and communication with the owner was amazing. Any of our questions were answered within five minutes. Unfortunately the weather was not great but we were able to enjoy the beach a few times. The unit itself was very clean and very accurate compared to the listing. The owners seem to have thought of everything when it comes to amenities and kitchen items. The only negative was the beach access for two of the buildings was closed, which certainly was not the owner’s fault. The only access to the beach that was open had stairs, which for us was a bit difficult as my mother wasn’t a walker/wheelchair. Another drawback with her in a walker/wheelchair with the high bed in the master bedroom. The bed is a little higher than most, which made it difficult for her. We actually had to rooms for her however we know this is very specific to our situation and does not apply to most. The master bedroom is absolutely beautiful and the bed was amazing again it was just specific to our situation. Everything in the unit was amazing. We would definitely come again and stay in any of that owners properties.
