Beautiful vacation home!

We had a wonderful stay at Cape Island Escape. We had a large family group of 19, ranging in age from 18 mos. to over 60, plus two small dogs. There was plenty of space for everyone! We all said it's the nicest beach house we've ever stayed in. We would love to be back!

The home was the perfect size and layout for our family. Lots of space for together time and those needing some quiet. Close to the beach. Nice street for a quick walk. Overall a lovely place to stay.

Thanksgiving Stay

Brought 5 families together at the house to celebrate Thanksgiving. The house had a ton of room and was in a great location. Nice quiet neighborhood and close to the beach. Had a couple of items that could have used a cleaning but they were small and didn’t mention to the owner. Overall great place to stay and would go again.

Family reunion on Topsail Island

We had a wonderful family reunion at this beautiful property. Walking distance to the beach, and very accessible to Wilmington and entertainment. Everybody had their own bedrooms, and the living room and patio areas were large and conducive to everyone being able to visit into the late hours. The movie room was awesome! Great place, and we hope to do this again next year!

Fantastic vacation

Great location and property. There was a beach cart on the property, but we rented a golf cart which proved to be invaluable for getting all the people and stuff to the beach. Kids had a great time crabbing off the community dock across the street from the house.

Successful Family Beach Week

Our family comes together for a week at the beach every July. I live locally, but the rest travel…two families from as far as Mobile, AL and Boston, MA. The challenge has always been finding a property big enough to provide a week of comfort for all family members big and small at an affordable rate. We were ALL extremely satisfied with the space the property offered…for time together at meals and during game nights as well as allowing room to spread out and relax alone or in small groups. The neighborhood is lovely and peaceful. The proximity to the beach is easier than we first thought. The younger ones really enjoyed the community pool too. The management company were terrific with communication when we needed anything. We would definitely consider booking again! Thank you for opening your home to us!!

Problems:

I sent messages to let someone know that the dishwasher stopped working for some unknown reason. Also the corn popper started smoking with nothing in it when tried to use it. Would have been beneficial to have instructions on how to use the equipment in movie room.
