Nice place to gather

We used this property to celebrate Christmas. While thr weather was less than ideal, the property was great to spend time together. It did have some wear and tear but but is to be expected in short term rentals. The elevator was very nice compared to other properties we’ve stayed at. My biggest complaint would be they requested to keep the house at 65 deg which was very chilly when it was that rainy. And the fire place did not work. But overall, it was a great value for the location.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Landmark Vacation Rentals was good to work with. Any questions were answered. No problems with the staff. The house definitely needs some TLC. Several outlets have no covers on them in the bedrooms. The cleaning crew could do a better job. The stove, some of the burners don't work properly. The one garage isn't big enough for an SUV, we parked in there and had difficulty getting out of the car. Spigots you had to figure out where the shut off spot was because the handles just keep turning. Overall, the house is a great location, wonderful beach location. We enjoyed our time.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family stayed in “Dolphin Parade” in Topsail, N.C. and had a wonderful week. The weather was good except one day it rained. The house was very comfortable. We had plenty of room for 14 of us. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils and dishes. Only complaint was the master bedroom on top floor was too cold.If we cut the air up it was too hot in the other bedroom on that floor. The views were awesome and my favorite place to sit was on the Oceanside deck. We would rent again!!

House was reasonably clean, but could have been better. Main tv worked fine, others issues with connectivity, but we weren’t there to watch tv. Overall, a lovely spot, great time had by all. Pool is nice and a short walk. Hot tub new and amazing. Rental company addressed any questions & concerns.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As usual, we had a wonderful week at the beach in dolphin Parade. We appreciated the new appliances and some other upgrades. My only concern continues to be the wicker furniture that seems to be falling through when you sit on it. I also wonder how often the air filters are changed because every year when we come, we wind up walking around and changing all the filthy air filters. All of us have issues with allergies or asthma and we have to take care of the filters.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a beautiful location. Hard to beat the ocean views. That is what you are paying for. This is very much your typical beach rental home run by a management company. No updates to the home, stiff sheets, uncomfortable beds, cheap appliances/utensils. Kids loved the hot tub and again... views are wonderful. The $$$ spent is for the ocean front. Don’t expect to be blown away by anything inside the house.

Reviewer Comments: I'm not picky, but let me share some our experience.The Property was clean for the most part, but the deck was covered in sand when we came in. The person in charge said they would blow the sand off the deck and they never did. The top and middle floor AC was cold even at 70 degrees. The first floor/main Floor never got below 78 degrees the entire time we were there. IT was frustrating and I thought about complaining, but didn't want a maintenance guy in the house during our vacation. Most places have the top floors like an oven. In this house it was the main floor. For the price of the house, I expected more from the AC. Enough about the AC. The house itself was spacious and allowed all 14 people plenty of space. The internet was good about 75% of the time. Internet on the top floor was spotty at best. The best thing is that there is no public access near the house. We enjoyed beautiful weather every day, and the beach is just a few short steps from the deck. The outdoor shower on the bottom floor was great and the hot tub was a nice feature in the evenings. I know I complained about the AC, but that was really biggest issue. The internet wasn't used much at all, but the issues were more annoying than a crisis. The space of the house, the kitchen and 2 refrigerators were a smart addition. All in all I would give it a 8 out of 10 with the 2 missing points the result of a weak AC on the main floor.

Dolphin 127

All of our children and grandkids join us every year on our vacay. It’s wonderful! We love Topsail. The kitchen is a bit lacking but we’ll plan better next time.

We had our children and our grandchildren for possibly the sixth time at this home and we wouldn’t change for anything. When we had problems, they were handled instantly and with good cheer. Changes were made to the home this year and they were lovely upgrades. I’m counting down days until next year.

Beds we’re comfortable.Kitchen is too small for 21 people, all appliances need updated. Not nearly enough silverware. Damage to the crown molding that needs repaired. No nozzle on the hose to rinse off from the beach. Area under the deck is a mess.

Nice home

I enjoyed my stay for the most part. I was a little disappointed with the grilling area/lack thereof and not being able to access the pool. We were prepping our food for the grill, when it mysteriously disappeared. I spoke with spoke with someone from the property manager's and they were supposed to call back but never did. Also, asked about the community pool and went over around 3p on Saturday, only to find out they were closed. Also, had an issue with the hot tub, but luckily the maintenance guy was next door working on the neighboring unit and was able to do a quick fix to get us through the weekend. The home itself was very nice and spacious! Only thing I would recommend is making sure each restroom has a full roll of toilet paper.

There are a couple issues here and there, but this home was actually in much, much better shape than most of the houses we have rented at Topsail. We would definitely rent again.

Disappointing and Worn out property

Reviewer Comments: We vacation as an extended family every year and have rented in Topsail many times. This was the most we've paid for a beach front rental and it was the worst conditioned house we've stayed in. The view and location are amazing and the house has great potential. Every appliance is either broken in some way or not functioning properly. So many parts of the house were broken (molding, chairs, shower rods) and the furniture extremely worn. Many of the pots and pans were burnt through or not clean. We spent time trying to clean of the burn and gave up. The deck when we arrived was covered with sand and we spent time cleaning the deck and outdoor areas. We had to buy bags of ice initially until the ice maker kicked in and a lot of bottled water because the fridge filtered water didn't work. The bathrooms had a lot of rust and didn't seem very well cleaned. I hope they invest in this property and bring it back better than it is. It is not currently worth the cost compared to other properties available.

Everything was perfect. The kitchen is well equipped and the views spectacular. This made for a vacation to remember for years to come. We will definitely rent from landmark realty again. They exceeded all our expectations. We even received a little care package to carry is over in case we did not bring enough essentials.
