Great Stay

Listing was accurate for the booking.Hosts were very fast with communication. We had one issue at check in with the AC unit not functioning but the host was very responsive to the issue.Location was amazing! Very short walk across the street to the beach access. Very quiet area even on weekend nights!!!Will definitely consider booking again!

While the location was great, our experience at the property was lacking. One major downside was the lack of a working air conditioner, especially since we have 2 young children. My husband communicated with the property manager for quite some time, you seemed to give faulty advice (like toggling a switch that didn't exist). Overall it ended up being a waste of time as it was never resolved. Additionally, we received the wrong code at check-in so after multiple times trying to get in, we had to call the property manager to get the right one. This task was made more difficult by the fact that we didn't have any cell reception, so had to constantly walk toward the road to hear anyone. There was no garbage can - though I think one of the 2 recycling bins was meant to be the garbage can (or at least that's what we used). Overall, a bit disappointing for the money.

Fun

The property was exactly as advertised. We did however find unfinished laundry in the laundry room we needed to complete in order to use the machines. Also there were 8 industrial garbage cans filled overflowing and we saw it was trash day so we took them out and returned them when they were emptied.

This property is in a great location, easy walk to the beach and quick drive to all the fun that surf city has to offer. The property manager was responsive to questions .

Good Place

Overall, we liked the place. Something that was not in the listing was paying for laundry. Not a huge deal but had to go to the car wash to get change. Also the laundry room has no cooling- very hot. The place is small but did fine for my family of 4. My kiddos liked the bunk beds. Could use more hooks for hanging bathing suits and towels. The location was nice! Very close access to the beach. Enjoyed our stay.

Quick Trip to drop off my Marine Daughter

The apartment is well adorned, obviously recently redone. The beds were comfortable. It is more of a bedroom with a closet 2nd bedroom that has no door on one side (just for transparency) perfect for a family with younger children, as the 2nd bedroom has bunk beds. The kitchen is cute. There was no microwave, wine opener, or toaster... It's a bottom-floor apartment, which is nice for unloading and loading, but no view to speak of. It is across and up a couple of houses from the beach entrance, and you can hear and smell the ocean from the property, which is lovely. The beach is gorgeous! I would stay here again, but plan for the kitchen lackings.

I'm a cancer patient. I was hoping to be Be able to go to a Private. Beach home and and enjoy the view of the ocean. Is what I thought I paid 4 because. That is what I Request it I was put into a 3 story home on the bottom floor the only view I had of the ocean. Was my front front front front front pumper? Of my car. Home.

Love this place

Great location. My grandson went fishing the day we got there. You can see the Kennedy Space Center from the deck. It’s old school which we love. If you’re looking for something like the four seasons you would not like it. We would definitely recommend it. We will be back

Long weekend at the beach

The property was clean, right across the dead end street (very little traffic) from the beach access. So convenient. The living room and kitchen space were well thought. Two bedrooms worked out perfectly. It is a shared building with 6 total units. For the most part everyone was respectful. It would be helpful in the unit if there was a full length mirror and some wall hooks by the door for jackets and wall hooks in the bedrooms for storage of belongings. A better shade or thicker curtain besides a sheer for the door window on the first floor. ( we used a towel)Those are just suggestions. We had a wonderful long weekend at the beach!

Across the street from the beach

Perfect spot for a single traveler, couple or a family with small children. This is a great apartment with easy access to north topsail beach. Very quiet location on a dead end street. Kitchen has everything you need. Owner very easy to talk to. Perfect for a great getaway

Perfect for a work stay

This little apartment was perfect for a work stay and the fact I wanted to be near the beach. The walls of this apartment have been loved by some little hands and toys, but the overall apartment was clean, could use a good dusting but floors, sinks, and shower were clean. They do need to install smoke alarms as I believe this was remodeled into a unit recently from the pictures of the other apartments. Rental company was easy to communicate with and even brought me a hair dryer since I forgot mine and they apologized for one not being there. I would stay here again, it was comfortable and quite but I was the only one in staying in the units!

Perfect little get away…

The place is clean and has nice decor. The only concern was the smell. It is a bottom level unit and that is a big plus. I would recommend a blind to cover the front door window or curtain for privacy and a second mirror somewhere in the unit…

Cute vacation apartment

Close to the beach, clean and updated. Flooring in restroom buckling around shower from water damage but not bad. Also as a bottom apartment so you do hear all the footsteps above you.

Accurate listing, what we expected

Property is in a great location. Close beach access on a quiet part of the beach. We were bottom floor and there is no cover over the window to the door, this is something we recommend the owners fix. At night the neighboring unit was grilling outside, playing music, drinking. Since their group was large they kept walking in front of our door, which at 9pm did not have a cover. It made us a bit uncomfortable.
