Overall, the week was wonderful. The property was as expected, and the accommodations were adequate for our family. Our minor recommendations would be for a larger refrigerator, a larger dryer or second dryer, and a simplified Wi Fi access. The week was great, and we consider it one of our top locations.

Great Beach Vacay

We loved the location and the beach was wonderful, not crowded. The house was very nice, we had 10 people including some elderly parents and the elevator was a huge plus. The pool and yard were a lot smaller than how it appeared in the pictures but was still nice. We had an issue with the coffee pot and while it took 2 days to resolve, the Team was very responsive and the manager actually drove an hour to deliver a new one personally. Would recommend for a great beach vacay

MEU Homecoming

We really enjoyed this house when our family gathered to welcome the MEU back home. Only a 30 - 35 minute drive to the base. Perfect location on the strip to seem very quiet and easy access to the beach. Great view of the beach and the marsh. The seating was plenty and comfortable for out family to sit around and talk. Breakfast bar seating for extra people to be close. The large family table was perfect and the deck table and chairs were a great place to enjoy coffee and sunrise. The back decks overlooking the marsh were great also. It was very clean and well stocked with cookware and a great walk in pantry to keep supplies out of the way but easy to get to. Highly recommend this house.

Not enough facilities for number of people who they say it will accommodate.

The elevator was out of order when we arrived. It took until the next day to have it fixed. (It was inoperable…nothing we did). So we had to schlep all the food up four very steep flights of stairs. The refrigerator was way too small to accommodate food and drinks for eight people. There were very few serving pieces (bowls and platters) cooking utensils, pots and pans and many of them were broken or in bad shape. The washer and dryer were stackable units that ran 24/7 in order to accommodate all the laundry for 8 adults. On the plus side, the house was decorated nicely, the beds were comfortable and the views were lovely. I would not rent this unit again unless there were changes made to accommodate a large group. PS. This is not anybody’s fault, but you cannot sit on the deck facing the ocean view and have a conversation. The road noise is terrible!

Quite retreat

This was a great property for a large family to get away for the holiday weekend. The hot tub and pool were a plus. Ample pool towels were also available for our use. With elderly grandparents coming with us, the elevator was a necessary element. We were grateful for it.
