The photos posted had a better exterior a view; my unit was ground level facing parking vs aspen trees. Everything was clean, the unit was well appointed, and very comfortable and welcoming. I would definitely return again and the free (summer/ off season) shuttle busses into Aspen, which also connect up to other locations, was a huge plus. Enjoyed my stay :)

The unit was old, small and had a poor layout. No A/C was disappointing. Poor lighting a nighttime felt like a safety issue

There isn't enough blanket, it fits 4 people but they sleep super uncomfortable, the whirlpool of the hot tub doesn't work, details that for me count when it comes to giving the note!

Super clean, comfy bed, and a short walk to ski down to the lift. Close to the Snowmass mall and very walkable to bars and restaurants. The pullout couch was actually not that bad. A good value fora ski vacation.

Nice cozy unit. It was a studio that seemed to be renovated to be a one bedroom. The walls of the bedroom did not go up to the ceiling and only offered visual separation. You literally could hear everything from inside the bedroom and living room/kitchen vice versa. There was no space around the bed other than to walk but your legs would still touch the bed. If you have a larger frame, the “room” could feel a little claustrophobic. Otherwise kitchen had all the pots/pans and trinkets needed to make meals. Appliances worked well. In unit washer dryer was a nice surprise. Generous with dish soap, hand wash, detergent, foil, plastic wrap. Temp control was effective. I wish I knew the bedroom walls did not reach the ceiling. Also the first night there was a beep that went on all night. It went away by the second evening but I wasn’t sure if they came in to address it or if it was from the unit above or below. It kept us up all night. In my effort to find the beeping sound, I only saw the carbon monoxide plug in and not a separate fire alarm. Perhaps it is two in one. Highly recommend if you would be good with a studio unit. There are better one bedroom options if you need a quiet space for work, nap, read a book.

The Aspenwoods property was nice but the particular unit is right on the ground floor on the corner by the road. It had lots of people and trucks with deliveries and backing up, coming by at all hours which meant it was noisy and uncomfortable because they are walking inches away from the window. Also there is no view of the trees or landscaping like in the other units. The kitchen is tiny and there’s no dining room table. Our kids had to sit on the floor to eat. All in all it just made it difficult to relax and enjoy our time on the property.

For the price it’s a good location and fair unit. It isn’t quite ski in and ski out like it used to be before additional lodging. The mattress and pillows could really be replaced.
