Allegheny Springs 140 - 2 BEDROOM Plus Den; 2 BATH - BEDDING: Master BR King, #2 BR King, 2 bath condo located on the first floor just steps from the Village. It features a full kitchen, a living room with a gas fireplace, a den with a Queen Sleeper Sofa, and a TV. Also a Queen Sleeper sofa in the living room, and a deck with furniture and views of Skidder slope at the top of the Ballhooter Lift.

SLOPE SIDE - Allegheny is located adjacent to the Skidder slope at the top of the Ballhooter Lift - Between Mountain Lodge and Highland House.

BUILDING AMENITIES: Air Conditioning; High-Speed Internet; Free Long Distance; Elevators; Fitness Room; Sauna; Outdoor Heated Pool; Hot Tub; Ski Storage lockers/Bike Storage; restaurant and Bar on Site (Seasonal): Laundry facility on site; General Parking in main Village Parking Lot across Snowshoe Drive and Valet Parking is available for an additional per night fee.

UPDATED HOUSE RULES:
~ Reservation holders must complete check-in requirements.
~ The reservation holder must submit a photo of their driver's license, and a selfie holding their driver's license for verification
~ A signed Rental Agreement must be returned within 24 hours of booking
~ No Pets - Pets found in non-pet properties are forbidden and will result in immediate eviction without refund and incur a $250.00 charge to the credit card on file
~ No Smoking or Vaping
~ No large gatherings
~ Check in time is after 4:00 PM
~ Check out time is 10:00 AM
~ Mandatory quiet hours between 10 pm and 8 am
~ Minimum age of reservation holder is 25
~ No mailbox access will be granted, no exceptions are made.
~ For homes with a private hot tub, a cleaning fee of $100.00 is charged at the time of booking.

This was a fantastic location, right at the top of the Ballhooter lift. There was plenty of room for the four of us...I would absolutely stay here again.

Great spot at Snowshoe. Easy to get on the slopes. It was a lot of fun to sit on the porch and watch everyone crashing getting off the Ballhooter lift. Pool and hot tub easily accessible. The ski lockers downstairs were quite useful so we didn’t need to carry all our stuff up to the room. Snow makers were loud overnight, but that’s the price of a front row seat. We would stay there again.

The apartment is an excellent location the in the Village. Easy walk to the restaurants and stores. The ski locker also in an excellent location for the apartment. Super easy and super clean place to stay. We really enjoyed our time there.

1. Soon as you walk in the carpet has stains possibly pet stains2. Bedroom on right has 2 old sticky notes stating don’t use tub the one with jacuzzi jets it leaks (never disclosed this when I booked)3. Tv in bedroom on left was not working so I had to play around with inputs reload channels etc. To fix. (Pretty sure u came in vacay to relax not trouble shoot tv issues)4. Tried to use dryer night before going home and you guessed it that didn’t work. Once again I spent my vacay unpaid for troubleshooting it and after an hour or more it finally works now)You would think someone would compensate me for a place that had broken items that were never disclosed but received full price from me. Ridiculous I pay full price for broken / less than stated of room conditions when I paid and checked in. I would like a refund or some sort and don’t embarrass yourself but send a few bucks. Maybe I should send a repaid bill for the TV and dryer.

Outstanding

I’ve stayed on properties at Snowshoe for over 30 years and this is the nicest condo I’ve stayed in. Layout was spacious and the small den where one of the pullout sofas sits is a nice semiprivate location. Long deck would a great place for small kids to play and the view of the mountains and skiers getting off Ballhooter lift is great. The private ski lockers are nice as well. Kitchen is clean and well furnished. One can’t go wrong with this condo

Easiest & Roomiest unit

We LOVED this unit! Here are a few things we loved, the unit is almost directly across the hallway to get outside to walk around in the village, or thru the same door you can walk right down the stairs to the locker room- SO close and easy! From the room you have prime time views of the Ballhooter lift, also super nice being on level one because by lunch time we were ready to shed jackets and could just hand them over the balcony to my husband who doesn’t ski. He also enjoyed the porch view and getting to see us. The unit was very spacious, it was clean and have all the things we needed. The washer and dryer came in super handy as well. Both bedrooms had comfortable beds, the den had a pull out couch which after skiing all day was kind of uncomfortable. But we managed. All in all, I’d definitely recommend this unit to everyone! Thank you!

Awesome location!

This could be the best location at Snowshoe. We loved the easy access and being so close to everything. A larger living room tv would be amazing but definitely won't stop us for returning because the location is uneatable!

Great spot

Great location perfect view of skiers coming off the ballhooter lift. Plenty of room for two families. There was a coffee pot and keurig combo. Two sleeper sofas and two king suites was awesome. Extra bonus there was a rollaway twin cot folded up in a closet so could have technically slept 9. These two bedroom units are double the size of the one bedrooms including double the width of the living room area which gave the 7 of us (4 adults and 3 kids age 6-9) plenty of room to spread out. Trash in basement was hard to find. Signs throughout Allegheny would be nice. Would rent again!

Great locations; great stay

We had a great vacation over Christmas holiday at this location. There was plenty of room, it was clean, had all the cooking utensils, and we did a lot of our own meal preparation. The location was excellent. You could look right out onto the slopes onto the ski lift from indoor or the back door balcony. The other direction, the hot tub and pool were just a hand. The only negative was that there were repairs that were to be made, and had been postponed to spring. So the master bath whirlpool did not work and the shower doors were loose and floppy. Apparently they’re going to be renovating in the spring. With that said, it was very nice to have a washer and dryer in the master bath. There was plenty of room to use the secondary bath. And communication regarding all of this with the rental agency was seamless. They called me right back with answers to my questions. I did feel the Christmas “events” at the resort were a little lacking for the holiday season. But the decorations in the lobby were lovely. And also, the specialty pizza carry out, was excellent!

Very spacious for Allegany Springs

We have stayed in several one bedrooms in this same building and always felt cramped. This two bedroom was amazing for our family- 2 adults, 18 & 17 year old. The view of the mountain was beautiful. The furnishings are just a touch dated, but everything was very clean and comfy. There was an issue with the refrigerator, but the maintenance staff quickly delivered a replacement for use. Very close to the lockers, pool and exit into the village.

Summer stay

Communication was excellent. Could use some updating as the tub had a sign to not use due to leak and the shower doors in one bathroom were off the bottom tracks. Had to pull couch cushions off to look for phone and it could definitely use a sweeping. Woke up to no hot water but they sent maintenance right away and had it by evening. Location fantastic. I would stay here again.

Great location and cute condo!

The condo was very clean, it was stocked with some necessities and had everything we needed to cook some meals. The location was perfect. Steps to the town center and bike trails. Kids loved the pool too. We will definitely be back.

Spacious nice property

We had five family members up for a quick ski trip. The apartment was the perfect size, very comfortable for all of us, with more room than I expected. We didn’t do any cooking but if we had been there more than one night, the kitchen had everything we would have needed and wanted. The location right in the village was so convenient for the slopes and the restaurants and shops. My teenagers loved the hot tub and warmed pool at night. Parking was a bit tricky but we always found a spot.

Location is great. Condo is dated.

The condo was located in a convenient area of the village. It is in fact a clean and sufficient condo. Unfortunately it is absolutely not worth the price per night considering the condition of the property. I would gladly pay half of what I paid, or even a little more than that for the place because of its location and cleanliness, but it is not a luxury condo and should not be getting luxury prices. Honestly, I felt a bit ripped off.

Perfect location

We just loved staying here. The condo is next to one of the lifts. We enjoyed watching people and loved watching the snow being made in the evenings. We could walk to ski school, Starbucks and many other restaurants and shops. The kids enjoyed a dip in the hot tub. The condo was immaculate and had everything we needed. It was truly perfect for our family of seven. We can't wait to come back!!

Treasure on the mountain

Wonder stay, all the amenities are available for use in this unit. No need to bring any extras. There is no close Parking, but once you unload and park there is no need to drive anywhere.

Great location, super clean, spacious, slightly dated

Property located in the most convenient facility at Snowshoe (Allegheny Springs) and the most convenient location (first floor, just steps away from skii lockers and outside entrance to slopes). Both facility (Allegheny Springs) and unit are fairly dated at this point (1990s colors, dated televisions, old incandescent lights, old bathrooms), but that's Snowshoe, WV for you, so not surprising. All in all, the best spot if you're looking for convenience and space at Snowshoe.
