Great location

Mountain Lodge is situated well on the mountain and although dated in places they are steadily improving. I like the semi dedicated parking lot for guests and I hear they have plans to finally include hot tubs which are really needed after a day of skiing.

Exceptional location

We enjoyed the ability to walk straight to the slopes from our unite which was spotless clean and very well equipped (kitchen and bathroom equipment, plenty of storage, and the rack for skis and poles). We plan to come back and would like to stay at the same unit.

The property was great and all we could ask for. This was our first Vrbo and we did not know what to expect and it turned out to be a great experience. One of the best parts was dealing with Tim and his team. They were very attentive and easy to get in touch with and took the time to explain how things work.

Excellent access to ski slopes and lifts. Exterior of building looks recently improved. The interior is in need of remodeling and upgrades. When it comes to the actual unit it was very clean and all appliances worked fine. Building was built in the early 80s and the unit I rented reflected that. Overall clean basic and most importantly for me is easy mountain access to the slopes.

We have stayed at many places at Snowshoe, and several times at this property. This unit was clearly updated well. The condo furniture was in great condition, and it was well stocked for all the things you might need to cook. Mountain Lodge as a whole Needs more updating. The manager there who has been there for years is not pleasant or hel

Great Location, Just Not If You Want to Sleep

We loved staying at Mountain Lodge! It was super close and convenient to everything that we wanted to do. The room was quite uncomfortable though. When we arrived it was 76 degrees in the room, and with no AC the only way to cool it off was to leave the windows/doors open, which really only cooled the living area. The bedroom remained very warm for our entire stay even with 3 fans going and cracking the door. The sofa bed could barely be called a bed, as couch cushions had to be stuffed under it in a sorry attempt at making it reasonably level. So overall we had a great time, but nobody got any sleep!
