Everything is good apart from the air con which is centralised and not able to control. Secondly, the two pillows given are just too soft. Should provide one firmer and one soft pillow will be ideal

The location is very convenient for whoever is traveling. Shuttle to airport runs on time. Food in restaurant was excellent. Rooms are at point that need tiny repairs and upgrades. Also AC/Heat is controlled by reception, which was ridiculous. The room was freezing and lady at front desk couldn’t do anything.

Convenient airport hotel. This hotel is a 2 star compared to developed Western equivalent. The reception staff here are terrible, especially Daniel. He left me standing in reception for over twenty minutes waiting to check in. I was the only customer in line. He did serve a Bulgarian speaking local who arrived later and pushed in line. Other reception staff were just as inattentive and useless during my stay. But such is the general service in Bulgaria, ride and unfriendly.

I was charged by expedia for a room for 2 days before my family of four had a departure flight out of Sofia. When checking in the hotel staff could not check us in for an hour at 3pm in the afternoon due to their IT systems being down yet they told me that I had only a reservation for a room that sleeps a single person. I was tired from traveling from early in the morning so I accepted being pushed and overcharged for an apartment room which could afford to sleep 4 people. I was forced to pay an additional 100 Euros or 200 Leva which I paid in CASH. I was not given a receipt right away as I had to hunted in down for 2 days since the hotel computer terminals were down yet their were not down to force overcharge me for a room that could sleep a family of four....needless to state the obvious it felt wrong and like a scam to overcharge their customers. I had stayed in the hotel before in my last visit to Sofia back 8 years ago last time and first time back in 2014 and I saw that the hotel had had no renovation updates to their rooms. The carpet is dated, tired, abused and dirty so is the hotel furniture. The bed in the bedroom apartment can only sleep 2 people and was very uncomfortable and noisy. The other bed we used in the living room sofa which opened to a bed where my 2 sons slept and it was a full size mattress bed which felt like a boat and very rough and uncomfortable. I was forced to hunt down hotel staff for 2 days to get my receipt for the the money I was overcharg
