2. Vitosha Boulevard: the main commercial street in the centre of Sofia, which has stores, restaurants and bars. Many high-end fashion labels have outlets on Vitosha boulevard and the neighbouring streets.
3. The Rotunda Church of St George: Built in the 4th century, this is the oldest building in Sofia, and around it is the archeological site of ancient Serdica.
4. National Institute of Archaeology with Museum: the Museum collections cover the complete study of the culture of tribes and peoples who have occupied present day Bulgaria from the remote past until the 18th century.

6. Ivan Vazov National Theater: Founded in 1904 by the artists from the “Salza i Smyah” theatre, initially, it was called simply the National Theatre, but soon after it was named after the prominent Bulgarian writer Ivan Vazov. The theatre’s Neoclassical building, designed by famous Viennese theatre architects Hermann Helmer and Ferdinand Fellner, was finished in 1906 and opened in 1907.
7. National Palace of Culture (NDK): one of the largest multifunctional conference and cultural centers in the world. Annually, the NDK is host to over 300 events such as international conventions, political forums, business conferences, scientific symposiums, music and film festivals, concerts, dance performances, theatre, exhibitions and fairs.
8. Sofia University Saint Kliment Ohridski: the oldest institution of higher education in Bulgaria. Founded on 1 October 1888, the edifice of the university was constructed between 1924 and 1934 with the financial support of the brothers Evlogi Georgiev and Hristo Georgiev (whose sculptures are now featured on its façade)
9. Amphitheatre of Serdica: Serdica was the capital of the eastern province of Dacia Mediterranea - part of the Great Roman Empire. Тhe Amphitheatre is the only one in the world, combining a Roman theatre and a late antique amphitheatre in one place and the only such public building in the Balkans.

11. Zhenski Pazar (Women's Market): Superb and lovely local market with mostly fruits and vegetables but also lots of other everyday-things for locals.
12. National Art Gallery: Bulgaria's national gallery, which houses over 50,000 pieces of Bulgarian art. It was established in 1934 and moved to the former royal palace in 1946, after the abolition of the monarchy.
13. Slaveikov Square: one of the most popular squares in Sofia, named after Bulgarian writers Petko and Pencho Slaveykov, father and son. A sculpture of the two sitting on a bench is one of its main landmarks. The Sofia City Library is located there, and the square is famous for its booksellers.
14. National Museum of Natural History: the exhibitions of the Museum occupy 15 halls on 4 floors, presenting the vast biological diversity of not only ancient and modern Bulgaria, but other parts of the world as well.
15. The buildings of the Presidency, the National assembly and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria, as well as the large park Borisova gradina, named after Bulgaria's last Tzar.
Other atractions, such as the Museum of Socialist Art, are easily reached by metro, and for those who enjoy hiking, Vitosha mountain (about an hour from the center using public transport) will provide excellent views and well-marked tourist paths.
As our valued guest, you'll have exclusive access to the entire apartment for the duration of your stay, ensuring privacy and comfort.
Our studio is a modest, yet inviting space designed with the traveling duo in mind.
The king-size bed promises restful nights after days spent wandering through Sofia's streets.
The kitchen, though small, is well-appointed for preparing basic meals, with a nod to those who prefer to taste the city's culinary offerings.
The bathroom, clean and functional, completes this picture of simplicity and comfort.
It's the perfect backdrop for your Sofia adventures—a cozy retreat to recharge in.
Exploring Sofia from our studio is a breeze, thanks to the excellent public transport connections. Within a 10-minute walk, you'll find stations for three metro lines that serve as your gateways to the city's wonders:
Line M1 (Slivnitsa - Business Park): Stations Serdica and Opalchenska are your go-to for exploring beyond the neighborhood.
Line M2 (Obelya - Vitosha): Hop on at Serdica or Lavov most (Lions Bridge) for direct access to the central railway and bus stations. This line is your link from the railway to our doorstep.
Line M4 (Obelya - Sofia Airport): From Sofia Airport, catch this line to Serdica or Opalchenska stations for a smooth arrival.
The metro runs from 5 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., covering most travel schedules. For night owls, four-night bus lines (N1-N4) have stops nearby, ensuring that the city's nocturnal charms are within easy reach.
This studio isn't just a place to stay—it's your launchpad for urban exploration, combining the peace of a quiet neighborhood with the thrill of city adventures. Welcome to your Sofia retreat.
