"Convenient location 5 minute walk to Seoraksan Park entrance. Bus stop to Sokcho right in front of hotel. Warm room and they upgraded to room with two double beds with mountain view, much appreciated. However, room service non-existent. Neither of the 2 hotel restaurants were open for dinner. We ordered dinner but food was terrible and we had to go down and pick it up from front desk. Front desk staff not always at front desk and often didn’t answer phone. No coffee or tea in rooms. Dated decor is fine but problem is hotel needs upkeeping— in front of our room was water stains on walls and peeling wallpaper. No gym or pool on premises. Despite all of above, price reasonable and would stay here again due to convenience to park entrance. "

"It is my second stay in UH FLAT THE SOKCHO. Everything was great. The staff was especially friendly and very helpful during our stay. I will definitely stay in our next Sokcho trip. Highly recommend to other travelers. "
