Clean, well-equipped modern villa with great views
Very enjoyable two-week family holiday in the clean, light and spacious Villa Elia, overlooking Split. Our host was very helpful, providing excellent customer service. The pool, although on the smaller side compared to some, proved excellent for its cleanliness and temperature, as well as having just the right amount of chlorine. The Villa is very well equipped, both inside and out (beautiful terrace area with outdoor kitchen area, gas BBQ, dining table and lounge area, plus very comfortable sun loungers). Simple 15-20 min drive into Split, where parking is ample: roadside free of charge if you find a spot (and we often did), or fairly inexpensive in a car park at just over 1 Euro per hour. Split most enjoyable in the morning before 11:00 with far fewer people. Recommend Bokeria for its breakfasts, Biberon for its sushi and Bosso Steak and Burger House. Salt has a tasty range of vegan and gluten-free food. Lots of beaches and villages in close proximity. Definitely recommend visiting Krka National Park by car, as well as the islands, blue cave and blue lagoon by boat. Our host provided a directory of restaurants, activities, shops by email and by QR code, which was useful. Lovely holiday!
