SON BOU - Villa with private pool in Soller. Free WiFi

Wonderful mountain cottage, with private pool, located amid the lovely villages of Sóller and Fornalutx, where 2+1 guests will find their privileged shelter in the island.
This idyllic house, located right in the mountain, will allow our guests to enjoy total peace surrounded by spectacular views while they relax swimming in the salt water pool or sunbathing on one of the 4 sun loungers around. The pool is a treasure, not only because of its measures (7.5 x 3.7 metres and 1.3 to 1.39 metres depth) but also because of the exclusive surroundings. The garden offers wonderful secret corners to withdraw, a barbecue area with a large wooden table under the trees shade and a romantic table to enjoy a coffee or tea together with a good reading, you choose!. You can also take a long walk throughout the fields belonging to the property, although it is important that you close all doors behind you because there are sheep. The property is fenced and it offers total privacy.

The house comprises two floors and it is decorated in a simple and traditional way, although with all you can need for an unforgettable vacation. On the main floor, there is a cosy living room, with two sofas and an armchair, where you can relax while watching the satellite TV channels and light the wood stove when it gets cold outside. The dining kitchen is equipped with a ceramic top, electric oven, and all needed utensils to cook delicious meals. Right here you will also find the washing machine, iron and ironing board to do the laundry. Then, a shower bathroom completes this floor. The two bedrooms are downstairs, on the garden level. One has a double bed and the other features a single bed. Both come with a closet, a fan and a radiator.

As this house is in the middle of the Tramuntana mountain range it becomes part of the landscape, a unique, cosy and dreamlike place where you can disconnect from the everyday life. It belongs to the municipality of Sóller, one of the most beautiful villages in the island, but it is located between Sóller, Fornalutx and Biniaraix. Obviously, it is perfect for hikers and cyclists, or simply for those who want to be wondered by the song of birds, leaves and trees. Fornalutx, 3 km away, offers a little supermarket, a restaurant and some basic services. Sóller, 4.6 km away, provides with major services. Port de Sóller is perfect to enjoy a delicious ice-cream, have a nice walk or visit the beach. However, you cannot leave without visiting the beautiful beach of Llucalcari, located 11 km away.

Please note that due to certain features, this accommodation is not suitable for families with small children.
The barbecue is only available from October 16 to April 30. It is forbidden to light a fire in the area of the mountain range the rest of the year.

The capacity of this property is 2 + 1 guests. The base rate covers 2 guests; for each additional guest, an extra charge will apply. If the booking does not include payment for these 1 additional guests, the extra beds may not be prepared or available for use.

The house is even better than on the pictures. House and surroundings are lovely and in excellent condition - brilliant view over the town of Soller and the landscape from the terrace. A good starting point for hiking trips or trips in general to various places of the Island. Worth the price - highly recommended.

A really idyllic place. Lovely house, garden and pool. But this spot is really about the view of Soller and the mountains, which is every bit as magical as the photographs. Helpfully there are plenty of different sitting areas from which to enjoy it! You can also wander out into the nearest olive groves, which are lovely and have some spectacularly old trees in them. A fabulous place to stay!

Stunning small villa and views

Mallorca looking house in absolutely beautiful setting. Size and facilities perfect for a couple to really have a getaway holiday. Well designed house with kitchen/diner and sitting area on entrance floor, then downstairs to bedrooms and bathroom. Seating areas for every time of day - balcony outside kitchen for breakfast & evening, shaded area outside front door & hammock for hottest times, area next to pool to lounge and dry off. Immediate surrounds lovely wooded garden, then terraced olive and lemon grove. Easy access by car to Fornalutz, Soller and Porto de Soller. If careful with traffic can walk up main road and access footpath down to Fornalutz , Biniarix and Soller. No footpath discovered to Binibassi though on some maps. On hilly section of main road to Lluc and Pollenca. Some traffic noise, but not all the time and not that intrusive. A place to enjoy and return to.

Traumhaftes Haus in den Bergen Sóllers

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in dem Haus, die Anzeige das Inserat hat sehr gepasst. Zwei Sachen sind uns aufgefallen, die man vielleicht verbessern könnte, diese haben aber explizit nichts mit dem Haus zu tun! Zum einen war die Buchung nicht so einfach wie in einem Hotel. Schöner ist es, wenn man bucht, bezahlt oder eine Anzahlung leistet und damit fertig ist. Wir hatten einige Zahlungen von Anzahlung, über Kaution bis hin zur endgültigen Zahlung. Zusätzlich stresst es ein wenig, dass man bis kurz vorher nicht weiß, wo genau das Haus ist. Das alles ist wenig komfortabel. Für mich ein no go war, wir hatten heute Morgen Probleme bei der Toröffnung, die Notfallnummer hat allerdings erst nach 40 Minuten zurückgerufen! Das ist für eine Notfall ein bisschen spät. Ansonsten aber wie gesagt, fantastische Aufenthalt, das geben die insgesamt fünf Sterne auch wieder.

Beautiful place with unreasonable owners

If you are looking for a relaxing and welcoming place where you are treated kindly, this is NOT it. The owners made our holidays incredibly stressful and not relaxing. We would never stay there again. The first time we stayed at Son Bou, the cleaning staff called some manager or owner, who then told us over the phone that we had "trashed" the place and were lying about the state of it. We left it impeccable and were in shock, it was stressful. We ended up filming it all, so we would have proof. The agency, Homerti, told us it was a misunderstanding and refunded the bond, so we booked it again 2 weeks later as we thought it to be an exception. During our second visit, after our first night there at 9 am on a Sunday, the owner came unannounced onto the property to tell us that we had brought 6 or 8 people onto the property. Not only did he not tell us his name nor who he was at first, but I was also scared as he looked quite rough, angry and told us that there were cameras where he had seen this group of people coming in. I had no idea if we were safe there, who these mysterious "people" were, if he was a scammer or why he bothered us and accused us early on a Sunday morning during what was supposed to be a relaxing holiday. He ended up apologising, but the damage was already done, I do not appreciate being treated as criminals during my holidays.

The house exceeded expectations. Views are amazing and the amount of privacy is unmatched. We loved the separate areas - choose between pool, outdoor kitchen or upstairs patio. Place was clean and very well maintained, absolute dream location. note that using the outdoor kitchen (BBQ specifically) in summer months isn’t really possible, due to mallorca fire dept regulations. Shame as it is a big feature of the house. Additionally, an AC in the bedroom would be nice, and maybe a dishwasher. otherwise an incredible place!

Wonderful stay!

We loved the views and outdoor space. It was amazing! Such an amazing location. We feel very lucky to have stayed there. We met the owner who was lovely. Thanks for having us! It would have been good to have a dishwasher, extra towels, washing powder and shampoo and shower gel. The mattress in the smaller room is quite lumpy and the room had a stange smell.
