Location description Located midway up a small mountain, Wander Flathead Lake offers not only spectacular scenery but also convenient access to the best of Montana’s outdoor adventures. Explore the crystal-clear waters of Flathead Lake with boating, fishing, or kayaking, or take a hike through nearby Glacier National Park, just a short drive away. The area also boasts charming local shops, restaurants, and wineries, making it an ideal destination for a family getaway or a peaceful retreat.
Wildlife warning This is a high mountain home, and small animals like flies or larger animals like mountain lions and bears may come onto the property if food or trash is left out. Avoid leaving food outside (including residue in grills or fires), secure all garbage, and keep doors and windows closed as much as possible.
Pest control measures are taken regularly to minimize insect presence indoors. We hope for your understanding.
Occupancy notice This home follows a strict maximum occupancy rule. Please make sure that the total number of guests accompanying you (including both children and adults) doesn’t exceed the indicated maximum occupancy above to avoid cancellation of your stay and additional charges.
For bed arrangements, note that Wander Flathead Lake has 3 extra twin trundle beds. Kindly let Concierge know ahead of time if you would like extra sheets to be prepared for your stay.
Storage in the Master Bedroom The master bedroom does not include a dresser or full closet setup. There are a few hooks and limited hanging space, so we recommend packing accordingly, especially for longer stays. A garment bag or travel organizer may come in handy.
Pets allowed Our pet fee is $350/stay and covers up to 2 dogs with a combined maximum weight of 100 lbs. The fee goes to the cleaner for the extra work required after a pet stays. Pets are strictly prohibited in beds, indoor or outdoor furniture, or spa facilities. Pet owners will be responsible for damage and charged through their payment on file.
No Smoking Smoking is strictly prohibited both inside and outside the home. A fine of $1,000 will be applied to any guest found violating this policy.
Events By booking, you agree any events or professional projects must be confirmed and approved first. Reach out to us first to confirm deposit, event rates, and a contract.
Disclaimer An off-road RV is parked behind the barn through September. It sits outside the guest parking area and does not affect the 4-car on-site parking available to your group.
House & Community Rules Outdoor Furniture In November to March, the outdoor furniture is winterized and is not available for use. This helps protect the pieces from weather damage throughout the winter season. You’re still welcome to enjoy the outdoor areas during this time, but seating and cushions will remain stored until conditions improve.
