Lake Lovers Paradise

This spacious rental is every lake lovers dream. We are located within 1 mile of the nearest boat launch, with close access to many marinas on Lake Cumberland. The interior of the rental is set up for maximal relaxation. This unit is the basement floor of a duplex. It includes three separate bedrooms, full kitchen, two full bathrooms, laundry and front porch sitting area. Quiet hours are from 10pm till 7am. Come enjoy this lake lovers paradise!

This is the downstairs unit of a duplex. The residents above were extremely loud, sometimes until after midnight.

Not what we were expecting.

Our stay started our a bit rougher then expected considering the GPS doesn't recognize the address and send you to the front of house. Once we contacted the host and got that squared away we started out stay. From first glance everything looked clean, smelled clean felt clean. Me and my girlfriend got settled in and went out to meet up with the rest of of group and some other family members. Once we made our way back to the rental we realized there was no outside lights so we had to unload the vehicle in the pitch black. It was then that I noticed the smell of a wet basement started. My brother in law pointed out the that bedframe in the 2nd room was very wobbly and that a lot of the screws were lose.The bed squeaked every time you moved. Master bedroom was ok, Master bathroom toilet ran non stop. Kids room was fine. The game room was a garage that was beyond dusty with a fooseball table and some other came that non of us had ever see. They were pushed together so we couldn't really use either of them. Now to the cleanliness of the place. Like i said at first everything appeared clean. Unfortunately once we started to use the place we noticed things like water damaged wood trim that appeared black and smelled musky (molded). The cups in the cabinets had dust all over them (we had to wash everything we used before we used it). The kicker for me was. Finding and actively growing mushroom coming from underneath the cabinet in the kitchen. Place need cleaned properly!

Rocky start, rockstar host!!

What a great place! The trip started out a little shaky, has the host was in an area they couldn’t answer their phone, but when they was able to everything was resolved in a very quickly manner. Once the host knew we had an issue they quickly got it fixed and was in constant contact with us. If we are in the area again, we would have no problem at all with booking this house again.

Great location near the lake

This is a nice, well maintained property. Our GPS had a little bit of an issue finding the street, but we got it sorted out. The property was very clean and the check in and check out process was straightforward. We had a couple of small issues (propane tank for grill was empty & upstairs tenant created a flood that ran into one of the bedrooms). Audra was very responsive when we reached out both times & got the hiccups resolved. The property is about 10 minutes away from Burnside Marina, so it’s very convenient to get onto the lake.

The home is decorated very nice. It was a comfortable home, but not boat friendly. The drive way is very steep and the mailbox is in the way to park at the bottom of drive way. Not convenient for loading and unloading your boat supplies. I would not recommend this home to anyone with a 22 ft boat. If you're in the area to site see or shop this is the place for you.

Great place!

I was very happy with the place. It was clean, nicely furnished and had everything we needed to enjoy our visit. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to be able to visit again.

Perfect stay

We would love to stay here again! The downstairs area is absolutely beautiful! It was perfect for our family of 6 to spend a wknd away visiting family. The walk-in level was perfect for a family member who cannot climb stairs to come visit us. The place was beautifully decorated. It had plenty of natural sunshine coming through the windows and the living area is so nice and open. Our kids did not want to leave :) We felt very lucky to find this place!! Highly recommend.

Cute duplex! 10 minutes from the lake.

We had a great time on our weekend trip. It’s 15 minutes to the marina where we rented a boat for the day. There is a little beach nearby for swimming and fishing. The duplex itself is clean and cute. Had everything we needed to make our stay homey and comfortable. The host is very helpful and quick to respond!

Perfect Vacation Rental.

The place itself is really spacious and clean, the location is a quiet neighborhood with pretty much all essential stores within minutes of drive... For us, it was an ideal center point between Daniel Boone National park and the Mammoth Caves.. Most of all the hosts.. had very clear instructions and were available on the phone for any clarifications.. My only peeve.. the house has 2 separate apartments, and the address given is for the house's front door.. The one we rented was in the back with a very different entrance... Reaching this place first time when tired and trying to figure out the access kind of got little tricky...

In town for a short family visit

The property was very nice and clean. Check in was very easy. We stayed 2 nights, while in town for a family visit. Happy with our stay and accommodations. We had a little trouble finding it at first, but only because of recent updates with Google Maps and the address. The owner was very helpful when we called and walked us thru the directions.
