I’m trying to be fair with this review considering I booked knowing they were renovating. I didn’t realize how big of a renovation they were doing though. Pros: Property was very clean and metal quiet. Bed is an actual real coil mattress. I notice lately hotels are going cheap on beds and frames. It’s very disappointing. A choice of different firmness and types of pillows on the bed was a nice surprise. Rooms are large and carpeted which I like. Also had no issues with keys being deactivated. Now the CONs: parking is an issue on certain days if you return later in the evening. Although they have large smart TVs you can’t get Netflix or YouTube even know there are buttons on the remote for it. I found the TV very difficult to use and ultimately gave up on it and had to watch things on my laptop. Another big negative is the bathroom fan and light are on the same switch and the fan is loud. Mostly ended up doing everything in the bathroom in dark. The finishes in the room are ok but a bit dated. At check in there was no properly working bell cart. Staff was aware and did nothing to resolve the situation. I was there for a long stay and had to take multiple trips all the way to the 3rd floor to bring all my things in. Staff there is completely unimpressive. Standards for employees and service in hospitality have really fallen to an embarrassing level. Gym and laundry were closed for a few days durning my stay. It will be nice when the renovation is done.

They are renovating so the common areas are a bit messy, as expected. It's a simple hotel, and it met my expectations. The room was cleaned and it's comfortable, in much better conditions than the rest. Towels, linen and bed clean comfortable. Overall, it was perfect for my purposes at a reasonable price. The fridge was a standard size and made a bit of noise with the compressor on. The heat/ac, although eficient, is also old and noisy. The microwave worked well and the kitchen, with basic utensils, was useful. The staff is polite, nice and helpful. For a quick trip being for work or leisure, it works well without breaking the bank.

As soon as you’re entering the hotel you see trash and cigarette buds around the entrance and when you get in you get the nasty smell of weed. The Hotel is under construction and renovation which makes it look more dirty and ugly as they don’t manage it well. Front desk lady was super rude and disrespectful. When we got in the room heater and cooling does not work, stove to heat food was not working either and bathroom was not cleaned well small trimmed hair on sink and on toilet seat. Worst hotel ever….

I said “hello” as I approached the desk and she didn’t even say hi back she just told me to wait (because she wasn’t clocked in yet) with an attitude. The facility was going renovation however the smell in aroma of the facility smells like sale and old smoke. In my room the smell of smoke was very strong. I had candles burning in the hotel room to eliminate the odor. However, it did little to help the staff was very polite and nice and kind. I would not stay at this hotel again due to the overall appearance of the hotel however, the staff again very pleasant.

Renovations started during my first week of stay. I had to change rooms. The room that I moved to was complete but the corridor was not. The place was a mess with construction equipment. There were signs up about the construction but no staff member ever verbally acknowledged it or asked if they help with anything. The staff wasnt very friendly. They weren't nasty-just not friendly. This was four week stay for me and I appreciated that the hotel offered cooking appliances and utensils. They customized housekeeping services and had free laundry facilities.
