Birthday celebrations

We had a lovely 2 night stay for my wife's birthday. Rachel and Clay were warm and friendly hosts and looked after us really well. Our room was full of character and was spacious and the hotel is ideal if you want to relax and get away from it all.

Absolutely superb - 5 STAR

Best hotel and food of our 7 day trip with a different hotel every night. Fabulous attention to detail, huge room and a fabulous dinner. Superb hosts - may tell you to remove your watch and CHILL! Personal service. Loved it.

Charming hotel in a typically Spanish small village. Our room was facing a street but being a small village was very quiet. Delicious breakfast with local produce. Dinners were yummy. We slept very well on the memory foam mattress. The hosts were very service minded and gave us many helpful tips and suggestions. After three days we felt more like friends than clients. Next time in the area will will definitely come back.

Great little country hotel. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make you comfortable. There’s not much in the village but lots of other little villages in the area to explore.

Wonderful Experience

Rachel and Clay were wonderful, kind, and very attentive. Clay made delicious vegan/plant based food dishes for us. Please give them advanced notice if you want vegan/plant based dishes. Every alcoholic beverage we ordered was ice cold. The property was very clean. The overall decor and style of the property is inviting, calming, and current. We will definitely be visiting Casa Granado again.

Relaxing in the rural Andalucia

If you want to find a remote and tranquil place but still want to enjoy really good food and wine you should give the Casona Granado a chance. Clayton and Amanda do a good job in the kitchen, producing great meals in the authentic wood fired oven.

A slightly unexpected find but it turned out very well indeed. A very nicely presented small hotel in a hamlet miles from anywhere. Excellent food. The owners know the area well and are happy to explain and suggest places to go and things to see.

Lovely hotel nestled in the country side

I had a splendid stay in this lovely boutique hotel nestled among olive orchards among the mountains. Immediately when I arrived the owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. This small hotel is impeccably decorated, attentive to detail and the breakfast was delicious. This hotel is of the quality you would find in a large city not nestled into the country side of a small town. This was a truly a lovely experience. I'm already planning my next visit!

Peaceful rural comfort.

Run by English ex-pats, but well patronised by the local rural community, this well-established, excellent restaurant has recently been extended with eight comfortable hotel rooms in the refurbished original building. It is a small operation in a very small village, but it maintains high standards in a totally informal and friendly atmosphere. It is an ideal base from which to explore the sometimes spectacular, arid and mountainous countryside well away from the mass tourism of the coastal resorts. Thoroughly recommended for a peaceful and “different” stay in southern Spain, but do not take a large car if you wish to drive through the narrow streets in the village and the nearby small towns.
