Fantastic view. Helpful staff, including those in the restaurant. Great food. Superb decor. We used their shuttle to go down into the town and then take a bus over for a few hours in Positano.

Great staff, beautiful hotel, gym and pool. Pool was heated, jacuzzi outside was also heated. Our room is lovely. It had a couch and a full view of the ocean. It was an upgraded room.

Beautiful, clean hotel. Daily breakfast (cooked and lots of variety) was super. Shuttle into town was very convenient. Mattress was very uncomfortable (could feel springs), and while the shuttle was great, the driver smoked between every pick-up/drop-off so the van smelled very bad.

Really enjoyed our stay on this property. The breakfast was good and helped us save a little bit of $$$ especially since our trip was very expensive. When we booked, we didn’t realize how the hotel is in a rural area and is not in a walkable area. Luckily the hotel provides a shuttle every hour (with the exception of around 1-3pm and 9-11pm then no shuttle after 11pm). Lauren worked at the front desk and she was very nice and pleasant. She was super helpful and we enjoyed talking to her. Overall, the staff at the hotel are so nice and Lauren stood out the most.

I enjoyed my stay at the property. Staff were warm and friendly and very attentive. For the room I would suggest towel hooks as there is no where to hang the towels so we can reuse them. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Grand Hotel Aminta is a simply wonderful hotel. It has impeccably clean rooms with wonderful sweeping views over the Gulf of Naples and Mediterranean Sea. The staff could not have been more courteous or helpful, and the restaurant dining was excellent. It has a real “old world” charm - the kind of atmosphere and service that is sadly lacking from so many modern, more “corporate” hotels. We’d stay again in a heartbeat. Also worth noting it has a regular private bus service into Sorrento that works like clockwork, and many excursions to Pompeii, Herculaneum, Capri, Vesuvius, the Amalfi Coast and more can be organised straight from the hotel. Absolutely excellent!

Room was lovely and the Jacuzzi bath a real bonus and appreciated after a days walk in Pompeii. Breakfast spread was up there with the best I’ve seen. Staff very helpful and friendly Shuttle bus to and from town necessary given the hotels location but worked well and - boy what a location for stunning views

This property was perfect for our vacation. It was "off the beaten path," but provided a shuttle for easy access to the city center. The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was large and comfortable. The service staff in the dining room was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!

Praiano is such a charming town and the La Barbera was a perfect place to stay. Everything was perfect - From the moment we arrived and were guided to the beautiful patio and given an Aperol spritz, to our wonderful room with a comfortable bed spacious bathroom and patio with views for miles, to the wonderful breakfast every morning, and finally, the fabulous staff. Francesco was there to great us every afternoon after our day of adventuring. He made wonderful suggestions for dinner and booked the reservations. Sylvia greeted us each morning for breakfast and provided wonderful advice for planning each day. We stayed three nights and then spent four in Sorrento. We wish we had stayed one more night at La Barbera!
