「My husband enjoyed an overnight at Lighthouse Cabins. The cabin was a peaceful oasis in coastal Maine, as was Bass Harbor. Quiet, clean, well equipped , our stay was everything we hoped it would be. We would go back in a heartbeat and recommend Lighthouse cabins to anyone we know.」

「This place is amazing!! The property sits on a quiet gravel road, and the views of the water are beautiful. We saw loons, ducks, turtles and otters from the deck!The house has everything you would need and the hosts went above and beyond by providing kayaks, canoes and paddleboards, along with firewood and bottled water! Communication was amazing and everything exceeded our expectations.Amazing location, property, cabin, and hosts! Highly recommend!!」

「Everything exceeded our expextations. The place was spotless. The road to get the rental was rough. You have to watch out for the pot holes but definitely not a deal breaker. 」

「Upon checking in, my partner started to have a bad reaction to all of the fresh exposed wood in the house. Neither of us were aware she had this sensitivity. It did not affect me at all. Amanda came to the rescue and was able to transfer us to another property right on the ocean in the heart of Bar Harbor, essentially saving our vacation. I will just say that the new property was so nice, it was a step down when we finally returned home after the vacation. Amanda rocks!!!」

「We loved this property! The only downside was the bugs. We were so busy at the park in our two days there that we didn't really have much time to enjoy the outdoors at the property. But it was just as well since it was buggy.」

「This is a great place to get away from it all. It was really nice to have a place on the water and sit around a campfire in the evening. The house/cottage is very clean, nicely decorated, and well-equipped. There aren't any stores or restaurants nearby, so stop at a grocery store in Ellsworth. There might be some firewood left by others, but it would be best to purchase some camp wood on the way. It is sold by seemingly everybody. Bar Harbor is an hour away by car. 」

「This was just what we hoped for! Clean, well thought out and put together, private, and very special feeling. Too many special touches to try to list. We hope to come back some day! Would recommend for anyone that wants a glamping experience in Maine.」

「We loved staying here! The cottage was comfortable, clean, and a little larger than we were expecting! The shower was a little small…but that wasn’t a deal breaker. Loved having coffee and reading on the deck. We got to observe a lobsterman checking his traps. We made several trips to Milbridge for groceries and a meal. The highlight was the Catch Your Own Lobster (most of us watched) Boat Trip…lots of seals…and a delicious lobster dinner at the dock. If we lived closer, we would do it all...
