"We had to return to this wonderful hotel for its 5-star tranquility. A home from home, smiling and approachable staff, and an environment you can truly relax in. The manager Ana was a delight to talk with, and it shows the culture of the place. I’m sure other hotels in Cidade Praia are good, but this place is special. Low-key luxury."

"This is a beautiful well maintained place to stay . We loved the comfy bed and great pillows too . There was no fridge in our room but right outside is a well stocked fridge of drinks available for purchase on honour system . We were on the top floor which had a spacious terrace with view. Pool was warm and clean . Breakfast was full of fresh local fruits , preserves , cheeses and eggs to order. Loved the coffee and fresh rolls too . But the staff are the standouts of this place . Thanks for your great service and kindness . You speaking English was a bonus . Abrigado"

"I was a little disappointed when I thought the room I booked had an ocean view and it did not. The building is nice, clean and staffs were friendly and courteous. Tiles on floor need to be replaced since some had cracks in them and some parts of the building can use some fresh paints. The Buffett breakfast was good."
