"Very nice place. Felt warm and welcoming the moment we walked in the door. The balcony was nice for watching the deer grazing in the woods. I don't expect to be back to Ely, but if I did go back, I would look to stay here again! Thank you for a with free experience!"

"pleasant, comfortable, relaxing. jeff an iconic outdoorsman graciously provided content to areas of interest for us then respectfully let us discover our own adventure. walleye from the lake, huckleberries from the island--just a few of the finds. ...one picture sums it up."

"We had an amazing time staying at the cabin on Loon Island. The cabin is beautiful, and is in fantastic condition. It has a full kitchen with all the pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc. you will need for cooking. The solar powered lights work extremely well, and we never had an issue using lights ..."
