"This is an extremely convenient and pleasant hotel to stay in overnight on our way from the Channel ports to Carcassonne. The rooms are clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and the meals are excellent."

"Loved the friendly, helpful staff, the convenient restaurant, and nice breakfast."

"Beautiful setting and Edouard and Alexandra were amazing hosts! They’ve recently refurbished their place to a very high standard and my wife even enjoyed a dip in the swimming pool. Situated right next to a gorgeous chateau, we couldn’t have asked for more for our first night of holiday. If we are travelling this way in the future we shall be sure to stay again."

"Nostalgische herberg. Schoon, vriendelijk tijdens ontvangst en verblijf. Heel fijn dat er ter plekke gedineerd kan worden, er airco op de kamer is en de auto beschut op het terrein van de herberg geparkeerd kan worden."

"I loved this hotel!!! The room was beautiful and spacious. The restaurant was amazing! The courses were delightful, the cheeses were amazing and the wine was delicious. I would love to come back here again."

"Rapport qualité/prix sans surprise, la chambre était "dans son jus": descente de lit élimé, ampoule grillé, tuyau percé à la baignoire, mitigeur mal fixé, lunette des toilettes instable, porte du placard bloquée. Le revêtement du sol du parking mériterait d'être repris( pavés non scellés et de différentes hauteur). Petite attention pour le client: un ventilateur a été mis à disposition pour la chambre non climatisé."

"Love staying here."

"Good size room with view. Excellent staff and secure underground private parking."

"Superb stay, great location, comfy bed, spotlessly clean. I would definately recommend Le Lys Ecossais and will be back again to stay in the not to distant future."

"A gem of a find on route from Calais to the South of France. Superb hosts and a beautifully restored hunting lodge. We will definitely visit again."

"Adequate - served its purpose, needs updating and investment- could be amazing"

"It’s a wonderful “hideaway” where you can truly unwind. Vincent takes excellent care of you: a great breakfast, and on evenings when there’s no set menu, you can enjoy a generously filled plate, including rillettes of your choice. I stayed in the “Ambre” suite. It’s located under the roof, has excellent, discreet air conditioning, and offers a great view of the courtyard and the beautiful estate. Suggestions for the surrounding area: The estate is an excellent starting point for exploring the...
