"Staff was nice"

"Always stay here for weekend of Chili Cook Off. Buffet went up in orice, not great value. But, everything is up Asked for extra blanket. Was denied!!! Said they had just enough for rooms. Wow. Check in was very slow due to new computer system. Not their fault TV looked like it was about to go out. Look, we can overlook all of this and will stay again Always room for improvement. "

"Very disappointed. Check-in staff & most of the other staff did not seem to care. Lacking positive attitude. Started in ground floor room. Most of ground floor area inundated with caterpillars & other creepy crawlers overnight. Poor reaction by staff. We did request to be moved to second floor & were accommodated. Rooms are old & need major updates. Unfortunately, there are not many motel choices in Death Valley. Tried to eat dinner in the saloon, but was told that needed reservations & to come back later & they would try to fit us in. Ask to make a reservation for later & was told they don't take same day reservations."

"The pool was cold. No one wanted to use it. I thought after all day sun it would warm up. Breakfast was great!"
