“I felt at home”

“I thought the property was great for the value. It was clean, and well prepared. Everything was very well thought out, and brillianty laid out. I misread that there was a children's pool and a beach, but there is a beautiful beach 1km away I would definitely stay here again. Oh and we relived our childhood experiences at Upper Canada Village.”

“It was a welcomed stay as both my husband and I really needed a night away to relax. The property is clean enough and I wouldn't be afraid to stay again, but let's say my house after a clean on Saturday is much cleaner. The owner wasn't going out of her way to accommodate but she was kind. The breakfast however is subpar, scrambled eggs with a heated frozen patty (undercooked) and a can of cocktail fruit in a bowl wasn't what I was hoping for in my bed and breakfast. “Arrived in the evening our AC was not working..within minutes someone was at our room and then we were moved to another room as it could not be fixed. Second room ( non smoking room) smelled of smoke we called front desk again and they offer to move us we declined we were too tired after driving 17 hours. We had her note the smell was there so we would not be charged for smoking in a non smoking room. Carpets are very dirty and stained they need to be completely removed from the hotel Bathroom……

“I would not have stayed at this motel had the room I stayed in been posted on the add. Their advertising is inaccurate. Only newly renovated rooms are photographed and advertised. My room was not what I expected, very disappointed.”

She insisted on personally walking me to Rm 16 to "see if I liked it." Why do this after charging my card? I've never encountered this behaviour.
