"Excellent location for Valletta Some areas need improving The ocean bar restaurant lacked atmosphere and the staff seemed new untrained and lacking knowledge The tiki bar was much better although menu limited The pool bar was ok and staff helpful but seemed disorganised sometimes with the drinks delivery to the pool and where you were sitting with a table number system that needs reviewing"

"I wish I could have reviewed this property fully. However upon arrival I was told that I was staying at one of their sister hotels, TJ Boutique. While it was a 5 minute walk away it had none of the amenities that Cerviola hotel offered. So every morning I would go to the main hotel for breakfast, the pool, laundry services, etc. TJ Boutique was cute, the AC was nice and the cleaning staff always did an amazing job. The staff at the main hotel were some of the most accommodating and kind people I have ever met. They answered all my questions about the Public transit and recommended some good restaurants near the hotel. While I would have preferred to stay at this hotel, TJ Boutique was a good alternative with the benefit of the main hotel’s amenities."

"We stayed as a family group, 5 people in total for a week-long stay. We can only describe our stay as exceptional and highly recommend the property to other travellers. Maureen the manager went above and beyond to assist us and provided an outstanding level of service. Prior to our stay she answered numerous questions about the property and the locale, always prompt on replying to emails, as well as assisting us in booking airport transfers to and from the property. In addition, our transfer driver, Mr Petrovic was punctual, friendly and helpful. Maureen was caring, courteous and delivered a level of service far beyond our expectations. We give high praise for all the staff associated with this property. Andes, who managed the kitchen and the breakfast service was a delightful person. He always greeted us with a smile, was polite, considerate and cooked the most delicious breakfast for us each morning. Nothing was too much trouble! The property was exceptionally clean, housekeeping done to a high standard, with water coolers available on each floor. Every area of the hotel was clean and tidy - a credit to the housekeeping team. The pool and the undercover lounge area was a great way to relax after a busy day. We highly recommend this charming property and the outstanding staff that made our stay so memorable. We would definitely stay there again!!"

"I had a great time at Lemon Tree. The guest house is incredibly beautiful (the pictures are accurate!), the room facilities were slightly basic but all in good working order and everything was spotless and well maintained. But it's the hosting that is where it really comes into its own. Andreina and everyone who works here are the most welcoming of hosts, and the home-cooked breakfast every morning (with many traditional Maltese options) was the absolute highlight! I stated I am pescetarian and Andreina was extremely accomodating - adapting every recipe to my dietary requirements. Żabbar is a really nice place to stay - it's incredibly quiet, the locals are very friendly, and there's a really frequent 90/91 bus from Żabbar town centre to Valletta bus station - whence you can get a bus to anywhere else in Malta. (There are also buses 92/93/94 closer to Lemon Tree but they are less frequent than the 90/91.) I also walked to Birgu on my first day - distances in Malta are tiny enough that if the weather allows, it is possible to get around on foot. The only downside was the shower, which gets its water from a tank and so is quite inconsistent in both pressure and temperature. But this was a minor inconvenience when everything else was so great. I would definitely stay at Lemon Tree again! Thank you Andreina and everyone!"
