"Been staying here for years—always VERY CLEAN, everything you need. Small rooms but totally adequate with fridges and microwaves. We find the beds comfortable and the aircon totally great in summer, and the heat perfect in winter. Staff has always been exceptional—friendly, totally helpful—and Christina who helped us was just fantastic, and solved an error I made in the reservation. Walkable to a great coffeehouse (Cowboy Joe), walkable to a great Chinese Restaurant (Chef Cheng) and one of the best Basque restaurants in the country (Star Hotel). For more than 10 years, this place has been our Elko “digs” and we go through 2-6 times a year, always spending a night."

"I was pleasantly surprised at the condition of the property when I arrived. I expected it to be mediocre at that price point. Not so. The rooms are newly-renovated and modern, with nice amenities and attention to the fine details. The management was very attentive and focused on client satisfaction. I was welcomed with bottled water and personally walked to my room at check-in by staff. That type of personalized service is rare these days. I would definitely stay there again if ever passing through Elko."

"We had a first floor room. However, the person who was in the room above us had lead feet and the floor creaked. Think the laminate was loose because when lead foot paced for1- 2 hours back and forth at night you could hear the pacing and the creaking. Repeated walk at 5:30 a.m. when the person checked out! Reported to front desk in AM when checking out. Other than this issue, room was larger than expected, it was clean, refrigerator was cold, well lighted with bright white bulbs rather than soft white! Great for reading and there was a strip of lights that ran along bed headboard which was a great touch. Never saw this before, not even at all the Marriotts we usually stay at, or any other hotel we have stayed at through all our world travels! We would stay here again as long as lead foot stays home!"
