April family vacation
Wonderful location! The windows overlooking the saltpond make you feel like you're sitting outside. It rained the whole week we stayed but we didn't mind! We watched the water from the kitchen table and played monopoly! Amazing house!

Everything was perfect, it was exactly as described in the listing. The house has everything you will need, the breath taking views, the PEACE and QUIET, the low maintenance of the house, (no anxiety/worries about having 6 adults and 2 children and a dog and it not being your house.) NO interference from the homeowner, so if we had to use one word…PERFECT

My family and I were staying in the area for a wedding. This property is very beautiful. The house is very spacious. The pond views were wonderful. The house is very close to some wonderful restaurants. The owners were very helpful and quickly responded to questions. We really enjoyed staying here.

First off the location and views are just wonderful. The house is large and comfortable. Had the best time kayaking around the pond. The Swans are A+. Paul the owner was easy to reach and very accommodating. Definitely planning on returning.

A Wonderful Mini-cation on Green Hill Pond
We had such an enjoyable mini-cation at this lovely cottage on Green Hill Pond! It was raining for our first two days, but we were right on the water and could watch all the birds swooping about, as we read our books. Wednesday and Thursday we had absolutely perfect weather - lots of sunshine and mid 60's. We were tempted to take out the kayaks, but took a number of enjoyable walks throughout the neighborhood and parks instead. The house was very clean and had everything we needed (and more). There's nothing more enjoyable than having water views and we "soaked up" every moment. Our little cavalier spaniel also greatly enjoyed her stay. We definitely plan to return!!

We lucked out with perfect weather this week (warm during day, cool at night), which made the house comfortable with windows open and fans (no A/C), but could see how it could get pretty warm. Loved sitting on the deck each morning with a beverage, taking in the views and wildlife. Enjoyed kayaking, crabbing, beach nearby, fire pit and more. Quiet, friendly neighborhood. House was clean and spacious. Only mishap was with lockbox and slider screen, but owner was very responsive. We all enjoyed the time spent at this location, and those that dropped in to visit, didn't want to leave!

The Perfect Summer Getaway
We really enjoyed our stay, the house was perfect for our family! The house, dock & views are absolutely stunning, especially when the family of swans are out feeding on the Pond. The locations was perfectly central for the activities we had planned. We especially appreciated the added kayaks, games, fire pit, etc that allowed us to make the most of our family time!

Fantastic waterfront property
The house is large and comfortably fit our family. The pond access and dock were great for kayaking and paddle boarding. Neighbors were friendly. We hope to rent this house again as it was perfect for our family vacation.

Fantastic Family Vacation
Property was as described. While we did not have the best weather, the beauty of Green Hill Pond was stunning. A quick paddle over to the beach was always fun. The kids loved crabbing off the dock. We bought our dinghy with us which was a blast going around the pond. Evenings were spent around the fire pit with lots of laughter and memories made. In near by neighborhoods you have the Ocean Mist for a yummy breakfast. The Matunuck Oyster is amazing, make sure to make reservations well in advance. A huge plus was that we were able to bring our Lily (dog).

I can’t say enough about this house the location is amazing the area is peaceful and quiet the pond is amazing there are all kinds of marine life from blue crabs to tiny shrimp, perfect for kayaking ,house was immaculate and it seems like the owners go above and beyond,we have stayed at other great properties but it seemed like more things were supplied and at a higher level

Breathtaking view!
The view from the deck is amazing! Property is super clean. Only negative is that stairwell should be scraped and repainted because I got a splinter in the railing and mattresses could be updated. We had a wonderful time however. Highly recommend!

Girls Weekend
The owner made our stay lovely,from start to finish! She was friendly and you could tell she takes pride in her rental. The house was easy to access and immaculate!! The house does give a vintage feel, but honestly it was one of the nicest Vrbos I’ve been too. The neighborhood was quiet and the lake was just beautiful! I would return and would highly recommend to others!

Loved our stay. So relaxing and a great location for exploring walks and beaches. The cottage was super clean and comfortable. Stop and shop on the road to point Judith was great for groceries and the we got crab cakes, smoked salmon and flounder at the fish markets in galalie. Two ten and matunek were out favorite oyster bars. I would definitely recommend this to friends.

Peaceful Winter Break!
We enjoyed our long weekend winter break here. It is a spacious home and we were very comfortable- including our dog. We were worried it may be cold due to all the windows, but it was very cozy even when the temps dropped into the teens. The views are spectacular- we saw lots of wildlife, including Deer! Highly recommend this house for a family getaway!

Phenomenal lake house
What a wonderful home! The lake was picture perfect (we were rewarded with three sunny, warm days in october) and access to the local beaches was aplenty. The house is accurately described without any surprises. The added lawn games stored in the garage made for a sunny saturday by the lake. Local fare at Breachway grill warranted two stops and the staff were very helpful with accommodating our toddlers. Would love to return for a future stay!

Amazing weekend away for my family and my mother, who was turning 70. She loves the ocean and this could not have been more beautiful, peaceful and serene. The property has stunning views, plenty of room and plenty to do right at the property. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Best rental for us so far!
The house has the perfect layout for a family vacation. It has a large space for eating together, and visiting together. Along with a separate living area downstairs. The bedrooms offer plenty of space and the two bathrooms (3 showers) gave us no worries or waiting. The deck facing the water was away from the bugs and gave us a great view of the salt pond. We used the kayaks provided at the house, brought our bikes and rode for easy rides to the beaches and stores. This is a great location and a vacation house.

Awesome house for families
We had 2 families with kids stay at this property and everyone loved it! The kayaks and croquet were a huge hit. The water view was the highlight, we loved watching geese, swans, and boaters out on the water. We had everything we needed and looking forward to staying there again!

Perfectly relaxing
This was a great house for a relaxing stay on the pond. The kitchen/ living area had been recently renovated and there were enough rooms to allow for people to comfortably have spaces for playing, reading, working etc. There were also plenty of yard games, and a ping-pong and fooseball table! We kayaked to the ocean beach not far from the house every day and the kids loved playing in the waves/ beach. We rented a couple of double kayaks from from narrow river kayaks (they delivered to the house!) and that was perfect complement to what came with the house. The location felt remote, but was so very close to some great amenities, groceries, take-out, restaurants, etc.... Also, we saw lots of different water birds (even swans!) and a gopher that lived in the yard. We can't wait to come back again!

Amazing Location and Views
This is a hidden gem for sure! The views are amazing over Green Hill Pond. Close to everything and very responsive hosts! Amenities were great, from the kitchen to comfy beds to "toys" - ping pong, kayaks, a fire pit, and more. Even teen-approved (loved hanging on the dock)! My only reason for not 5 stars was no A/C. I know it's not common, but we were amidst a heat wave, and when there is no breeze, it is hot!

Large comfortable home in an amazing setting
The location and views from the home were spectacular. The home is so spacious and has many activities from ping pong, to darts, to kayaking. The kitchen, living rooms and bedrooms were beautiful. Having the washer and dryer and full kitchen was lovely. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach and shops. The neighbors are very friendly and the neighborhood is very quiet. The breeze and view from the balcony was amazing.

Amazing location
This house has outstanding views of Green Hill pond throughout the living area. Geese and swans with their young cruise the pond daily and add to the calming, quiet experience. While the outside of the house could use some clean up and bathrooms need upgrading, it is clear that the owner is in process on upgrades as the kitchen, appliances and floors in most of the house are new. Finally, the AC is somewhat weak but that isn’t a big concern since the cool breeze off the pond, screened windows across the back of the house and fans are adequate to keep everything comfortable.

This house was so worth the money! Location was amazing ! Right on the water . Filled with tons of things to do for the whole family . Ping pong table, corn hole, kayak’s ,fishing poles ,crochet and board games ! So much room to spread out with the family and friends. Close to so many beaches . Loved the outdoor shower . Great find!
