A hidden gem of a property

It was an excellent property for a nice weekend. Home was really clean and had plenty of kitchen needs. My only gripe would be the electric grill. Not a fan of it, didnt get hot enough to cook on but I managed.

Very pleased with our stay

Location is great, free parking, rooms and kitchen are comfortable and clean. The only downfall during our stay was that we did not notice right away that there’s a leak on the ceiling in the living room, not until the heavy rain. It was manageable, though. Overall, we had a great stay and I highly recommend this place..

Spring break with family

The property was great—clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our break with family here. It's in a great location—just steps away from the beach, and Lake Tahoe is gorgeous!

Tahoe stay

Overall the house was amazing. We had one problem with the toilet constantly running water but the maintenance crew came really timely. Very clean and spacious.

Wonderfuli including visits of 2 bears.

Perfect location for my family ages 1.5 to 82. Weather was fantastic and we were able to enjoy the lake, pools, hot tub, gym, and fireworks over the lake. Would definitely rent again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was clean and very comfortable. Parking was very difficult. We had been told there would be one day of parking disruption. Unfortunately all but one lot far from our unit were dug up and blocked the entire stay. I realize this is temporary. It did affect our stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house needs a lot of work, it’s not a luxury rental. Stains all over couch cushions. Just pull em out and flip it over. Electrical grill is an extreme fire hazard. Will just stay at a casino next time. No resolutions to my family’s issues.Katie is cool but whomever works above her has no consideration for others.

Well located Condo in South Tahoe

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a nicely located property that I would consider renting again. It's within walking distance from the lake, casinos, Heavenly, and restaurants. However, if you are a light sleeper, the bedroom next to the kitchen/living room needs a thicker door as you can hear everything, and the bed has a very squeaky frame. Also, 10 AM check out for a large family is asking too much.

Perfect location .. right in the lake!

Reviewer Comments: Location is perfect ... walkable to Heavenly Village and other Stateline hotels and shops, grocery store and other restaurants or a shorter walk away .... the lake is steps away! The unit is comfortable and well appointed with plenty of seating and huge dining table for eating, puzzles and game-playing. The beds are comfortable, lots of extra blankets & pillows, fluffy towels, sparkling clean bathrooms and a kitchen with everything we needed (just add groceries!). Communication was excellent. One small issue with a malfunctioning lock but it was handled professionally and quickly ... staff was helpful and very pleasant.This was our second stay at this location and we will definitely book again’

Family Friendly Cabin in Convenient Location

Stayed here for a Tahoe getaway. We were a total of 9 people, with 4 adults and 5 kids 11 and under. Cabin itself is for the most part as pictured. But as with most listings, it wasn't as big or bright as the pictures made it out to be. The cabin is a little old and in some areas (around windows) could use a good scrub, but it was a lot of fun staying here. This unit is near the tennis courts so a very short walk to the beach. Unfortunately, the pools were closed due to the pandemic, but we still had a great time. There are a number of restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. We only used our car to pick up take-out one night, and to drive to a bike rental place. Otherwise, we just walked everywhere. Only hiccup was there was only 1 parking pass in the cabin when we got there, but was able to call and get more. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here and would consider staying here again.

Wonderful Property and Location

Our stay at this unit in Lakeland Village was fantastic. The unit itself worked perfectly for our family of four and my mother-in-law who joined us. There was plenty of room. We took over the ground floor which had 3 bedrooms - enough for our kids to each have a room. My mother-in-law took the second floor room near the kitchen and living room space. This allowed all of us to have some privacy and not be completely on top of each other. The living space worked great for us to share meals and hang out on the deck. There is no AC but we never needed it in July. The unit was stocked with every kitchen item we needed for prepping and cooking meals. Everything was clean and fresh and new. The location was great with a very short walk to the beach and pool area. We were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend this unit to anyone wanting a relaxing and fun vacation!

June Tahoe Stay

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay and the condo was very nice with just a few issues. The location of the condo was perfect for us because we like going into town and usually rent a boat from the Ski Run Rentals. There were six of us and the condo was roomy and provided plenty of bathrooms so we didn't need to share. There is no AC but opening the windows allowed for cool air to bring down the temperature of the upstairs area. We did have some issues with cleanliness. The master shower had not been cleaned so we had to do a little work after arriving. We also got into bed on the first night only to find that our sheets were wet. Probably due to a rush cleaning. Some of the appliances should probably be replaced (toaster and blender). Lastly, there isn't much room in the outside trash container for a week-long stay for six people. All in all, I would say that we were happy with the condo but will probably look for another place the next time.

Great home for a Big Family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place is just as described. So many other great reviews, we knew it would be a great unit. Stayed at Lakeland Village in many of the similar 4 bedroom units; however, never rented a specific unit until this year. It was great knowing in advance how each bedroom was set up. Everything has been renovated and it is very nice. Love the kitchen how they changed it up. Plenty of supplies, unlike many other vacation rentals, you get garbage bags, dish pods, kitchen towels, new sponges, paper towels... you get the picture. The garbage area could be much bigger for a family staying a few days and cooking in many meals... that said, I contacted RnR and they directed us to just leave the extra garbage in the unit because they had a big pick-up coming. Otherwise, I think the extra bins are at the front of the complex, which may be a pain. But, they were very responsive. All in all it was great. We checked for next year, but the annual increase for three nights wasn't a few hundred more, it was a thousand more. So, we will end up staying somewher closer to the Stateline. But, this unit is terrific especially if you are going to stay in and play games! No shuttle service with this unit is another drawback. The day we drove into Stateline we paid $50 to park! Fortunately we only did that one day.

Good location but outdated rental home.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Only good thing about this place was a good location to go to beach but the house itself was horrible. Specially, the kitchen was awful. The kitchen cabinets were so gross so I washed everything again. I understand the outdated cabinets but at least the owner needs to replace the paper to cover inside cabinet where all the dishes, utensils, and cooking tools are. The cooking tools and pots were so old and dirty. And the stairs to go to loft were very dangerous. All my kids and a couple adults bumped their heads to the corners of the stairs which were very sharp. I ended up covering the sharp coners with blankets and towels. I don't understand why they built the stairs like that. They charged me $250 for cleaning that place but the house was so fealty. Spider webs were everywhere, the carpet was also dirty so when we walked around with bear feet, our feet were soiled right away. I don't think the housekeeper even vacuumed well. If I pay that much money to my housekeeper, my house will be super clean. It is absolutely a rip off to be charged that much money to use the fealty and outdated house. Please don't trust the pictures on website. That is absolutely not true. I always stayed in marriotte timber lodge but wanted to try a rental home but made a big mistake to choose this house. That place is a piece of junk. So gross....
