「The property was fine, being met with a pair of underpants on the outside banister didn’t bode well, but once inside it was fine. We are in our seventies so going downstairs in the morning with two cups of tea wasn’t ideal but we worked around it. The place was clean and very well equipped although we ate out every day. Salcombe is very niche and expensive although very beautiful and the natives were friendly enough. There are some lovely views a hilly walk away. There are National Trust gardens...

「Despite the complex instructions to find the cottage, it was fairly easy. (A quick look beforehand on Google Street View helped!) Found it best to park the car first in the Freshwater car park as you exit the harbour up the hill. This is a long stay car park costing approx. (August 2024) £10 for 24hrs. 「The RWY is a beautiful spot and you can easily take the ferry from there to Cremyll (Cornwall) or round to Barbican which opens up access to all the different ferries and tours. The apartment was really good but some things needs to be attended to, the dryer option on the washing machine kept error in out so all clothes had to be hung on the clothes rack to dry, not the end of the world but inconvenient. 「Very well located property. Lovely and spacious with 3 super bedrooms. While in Plymouth the temp was c30 but having very large windows, we were able to keep super cool. It was a great stay for us and our family and the dog! Having a dog exercise park just down the road was a real bonus too in the very early morning before it got too hot! Would definitely stay again」
