「We stayed at the Shelby Inn overnight Easter Sunday night, after a day of fishing at the lake spillway. The Inn looks to be a mansion in pictures, but it is also what might have been an upgraded 1950s single floor motor lodge, as well as a two story lodging building next door. Our king room was in the 2 story building, on the top floor. On the day of our arrival, we got the assigned room number and an access code for the door. 「Property looks bad. A lot of stuff laying around. The room was old but clean. Very different from the outside. Would do much better if outside was cleaned up」

「There was a microwave, not plugged in. A working fridge & freezer. The room was booked for 2 people, but only had 1 coffee cup and only decaf coffee. The cups and coffee were replaced when asked. The wi-fi password didn't work as no site was available to use it! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Good for an overnight stay!」
