“This was perfect for our getaway. We are an older couple who routinely gets away for a couple nights. Loved the location as it is close to several Hocking Hills State Park points of interest. Food sources are farther though, so we shopped at the Logan Kroger first and had several meals at the cabin. The property was cute, comfortable, clean. The grounds were lovely as well. We didn't see how fishing would work out too well, however. No clear path to water, water shallow. But birding did.……

“When we got there, the trash bin was dirty and there was a tea bag in the coffee maker. Looks disgusting! ”

“Friendly chech in. Spacious, clean and comfortable room. Nice pool and outside seating. Walkable to many restaurants. Plenty of parking.”

“Room.smelled of mold & noises from microwave timer never stopped & towel rack found on floor when 1st time im bathroom. We will not stay there again.”

“This was our third time staying at Avenwood. We enjoyed the first 2 stays but the third was not good. There was a power outage that went on all night. Due to the power outage there was a beeping noise that was not the smoke detector that just kept beeping and we couldn’t stop it. It disrupted our sleep and our all around relaxation. We reached out to have someone check it out and no one responded or came. It got to the point me and my husband decided to leave. On top of that my husband and I saw……

“I loved the staff and property and Jordan went out of her way to help me when Expedia dropped the ball! I will not use Expedia again.”

“The only complaint we have is that the pool was closed the whole time we were there which was disappointing considering we traveled with 2 teenage boys whom really wanted to swim. It was one of the reasons we chose this hotel. Other than that it was a nice place to stay.”
