“Not enough staff. Building is musty smelling. Room bathroom had separate door with window to hallway. Room didn't have a microwave. Took 90 minutes to get checked in. Puke on lobby floor. Entire town smells terrible. Go to a nicer place in Washington than this.”

“Absolutely massive and very lovely. It was a perfect spot of our stay-cation. Our family really enjoyed the theater and pool. The property owner was very responsive and accommodating with any inquires regarding anything with our stay. We had a very small group of people, but this location would be perfect for family reunions or larger sized groups looking to split the bill for a stay close to the lake. Please be advised to drive in slow, because they have deer in the area, which was pretty cool……

“My family loved our visit to the Highlands Castle! The owners John and Yvonne gave us a tour of their castle and the history behind it which made it even more special. There are several choices of castles to stay in and we chose the gatehouse which is a very private castle nestled in the woods. We woke up in the morning and saw a deer eating right outside of our window. The castle is meticulously decorated to make you feel like you are really in a castle. There are several nooks and……

“We really enjoyed the outside part of this place. The inside left much to be desired. The most “castle like” bed was up a spiral staircase and no restroom. All of the beds were in a place that made it difficult to get to unless you were a small child like my nephew. We had to sleep on the 2 pullout couches in case someone needed to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night because it felt too dangerous to descend at night.
