Unique venue close to all the attractions Louisville, KY has to offer and a beautiful, pastoral setting too. The host was very friendly and made us feel welcomed and at home. Highly recommended. ”

“We enjoyed our time in the Castle. We had 12 people and it worked great. Kitchen worked well, and we ate on the patio. The lake has been drained and that was disappointing. The lighting controls were confusing, and we never could figure out the AC. I’m sure that might have been user error. The house and plumbing fixtures are dated. We had to verify our payment as the management company said we had a large balance, thank goodness we had our email receipts. I’ve never had that happen before on……

“We rented both units at the Biergarten, the combined available space is HUGE, and extremely well outfitted. I echo 100% the comfort of the beds. It right in the middle of Blowing Rock, directly across a small drive from the Blowing Rock Brewing Company (Restaurant there as well). My boys (10, 13, 14, 16) and I spent the night and hit up App Ski the next morning. My wife didn't make the trip, too bad, she would have been soooo impressed with me picking this spot. We would definately stay……

“This house is magical! So much space to spread out and enjoy time together or have some quiet time. Lovely backyard with fire pit. Kitchen was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our Thanksgiving feast. Bill and Alex both responded quickly to communications and were very kind. We’ll definitely stay here again!”

“This place is unique! Definitely geared to those who want to immerse themselves in medieval play with closets and trunks full of costumes. I loved looking at all the furnishings and decor. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of meal prep accessories. The area is so beautiful. We drove into Port Angeles and I just loved the entire area, my first time in the Olympic peninsula. I highly recommend this trip. John Wayne has a marina in Sequim with a top notch restaurant there. Great trip all around!”
